I have no experience in braiding. I opted to purchased this maniquí because of previous reviews. I have to say that for the price this is perfect…. The hair is just as described -and I was able to successfully practice until it became easy. I still have a lot to learn, but I can at least say I know the basic way. My only complaint is that is does loose quite a bit of hair in the process but I guess that’s expected. Also I wasn’t able to find the proper place to secure it. Overall I do recommend it for every one who is the process of learning to braid!

1) I thought it might have lice eggs in it from other reviews but nah she clean
2) the box comes with a different mannequin on it but I got the wrong me I order
3) I didn’t smell nothing stink it just smell herby I guess
4) reacts really good to heat from a distance. I blowed dried it with a distance away from it and a comb. It air drys really easy tho
5)okay to wash and comb through without it getting matted. It was really easy to comb through in every stage
6)mine came with the stand so yay . I heard some people didn’t get theirs, so 50% u might get your ?
7)Surprisely didn’t shed at all for blow drying process or even weaving my hands through it, but does shed some when washing. When I picked it up it wasn’t as much as I thought. It also sheds way less than my real hair so I appreciated.
8) it original came laid and straight, but when I blow dried it it ended up more of a blown out puffy and straight combination. It looked like my real hair when I blow dried it so I appreciated this
9) I used a curling iron to test the comments that u couldn’t use heat and I found it does okay with heat. It didn’t give me a voluminous curl thick and bouncy, more like thin curl. It’s nkt my cup of tea so I comb it out. I wouldn’t recommend getting this for heat hairstyles I guess if your not looking for that outcome.
10) I also don’t know if it’s real hair or not I’m not knowledgeable on those things sadly. However I know the whole hair felt real and didn’t mat under water, the comb, or the blow dryer. I don’t know if it’s all real hair but I do know that it functions pretty well like it so it might be 100% depending on the one you get

I tried this head as soon as I got it and it sheds too much for my likings. The hair is yacky. I purchased it to practice feed in braids and I find the front edges are extremely thick on the head. I had to start braiding behind the initial thicker front portion I didn’t take a picture tho. The style was without any added hair
