I have bought a few damiensaber full blades and cores before and am very satisfied with the value and quality they provide especially over the original sabers you can find at the parks. The electronics paired with the near indestructible blade truly fill the value aspect over park sabers by a mile. I have park sabers but only for display, I break out my damiensabers for play with my kids and whoever wants to and we have a blast.This last purchase with the 3.0 RGB core impressed me with its brighter lamp and variety of fonts plus the ability to use my phone to directly customize colors, modes, fonts etc. on the spot. ( I have a 3.0 Xeno pixel core too which is great !) The only thing I did not like is the unstable modes particularity of washing or brightening certain colors especially red. One of the most important colors blends between a pink and a very light purple. Green is a little off too but red is very noticeable so if you are wanting to display the dark side in a unstable manner then you could be disappointed. Red pulsating is normal like previous models and so is stable red and as I said before, I’m impressed with how much brighter this model is but buyer beware, if you want to demonstrate your unstable dark side, then it might be lighter then you might want. I do hope they’re next models and upgrades address this issue unless it’s a particular lot that have this effect/issue. I did reach out and was led to believe that all 3.0 RGB’s have this “effect” with their unstable red.

 Ok so this product is epic! Everything functions great though the software and app do crash from time to time, but it has a lot going on. I love the sound, feel, and durability this product possesses. It's a great first saber in my opinion. I also love the tinkering aspect for this saber.

The app could use some loving as it has a few bugs, but as long as you're patient and read the instructions it's easy to use (critical thinking required 😱). The blade colors are vibrant and the hilt is well made. The biggest issue that I noticed is that one of the batteries are dented on the negative side on my gold hilt, and the black hilt's battery has a bit of damage on the shroud. I'm not overly concerned about it but it is a little disconcerting.

TLDR: All in all I am a happy big kid and want to upgrade to pixel ASAP.

This really surprised me, it looks like the movie version of the star wars films. I had the black series lightsaber i used when i cosplayed or Halloween. this one is way superior to my former lightsaber. everything can be controlled by your phone making it the exactly how you want it. This is exactly as advertised, and works great! My only slight gripe is that there is a mirror at the end of the blade to reflect the light back through the sword. This creates a slightly distracting bright spot. The Lightsaber more than makes up for that in its other features. The color of the blade is great, and is infinitely customizable with the app. I was able to engage in heavy dueling with children who were not gentle with only mild scuffing (most buffed out, and blade still looks great). Finally, the Sound effects are amazing! You can make it sound like anything from a standard Saber, to Kylo Ren's to the DarkSaber! And the hum changes pitch with the slightest movement, making it sound really cool!

Not a pixel blade, the videos in the pictures make it seem like it will dance like a pixel blade, and I feel like the one in the video is a pixel cuz this has no ability to do the rainbow blade but still a great one has lots of features and great for the money. Mine I ordered for me is a pixel blade and has more ability to dance but cost twice as much, if you don’t care about the ability to customize the individual pixels in the blade then this will work great! My wife and I love our lightsabers!

I ordered 3 of these, two were perfect but the third one would not stay connected to Bluetooth. Did the software update on 2 with no issue but had constant drops with the third, connected then disconnected. So 2 out of 3 isn't horrible but my younger son is a little upset he can't update or do anything with the app.

Update... The company contacted me and help me troubleshoot the problem, taking out the battery and letting it sit, then putting it all together, it connected and updated.
