First of all, the product quality just feels superb. There is a weight and durability feel to the probe that’s professional class. The combination charging base and monitor is compact and attaches magnetically to any nearby surface— a thoughtful design. Scanning to download the app, and pairing all devices with my iPhone was effortless. To set up the base monitor took about two hours of charging the battery. Charging the probe, took many hours, but was worth the wait. All the status light features are intuitive and very useful. The best part, of course, was dialing in a 4 pound ribeye roast to an internal temperature of 135° F, and watching the progress on my iPhone from a distance. When the internal temp reached 135 an alarm sounded on my iPhone and I removed the roast. It was perfectly pink in the middle.And yes, all functions are switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit.Bottom line: I am completely happy with this product—it does everything it says it can!

This is a nice product. I don't use it often but when i do it is very simple to connect to and it seems to work well..

My biggest complaints are that the spike is rather thick so probably not the best option for smaller cuts of meat like drumsticks or even something like salmon. the other issue is the Bluetooth, I would almost rather have it come with its owned screened interface than hook to my phone. all of the comments you read about the Bluetooth is true. from one end of my house to to the next it will disconnect. with that said, its not a huge inconvenience for the Bluetooth to cut out as it auto reconnects when it is within range and I really dont need to have a constant reading on what i am cooking. i can simply just walk back into range and check on it.

My honest opinion is that I WOULD recommend this device to others if they are interested in something like this. Personally, I will probably never buy another one. do not get me wrong, its a really cool product but there are much cheaper options that do just as well of a job if not better.

I own a Meater+ which has been rife with issues. The probe won't hold a charge and eats AAA batteries, connecting their probe is problematic every single time, and I was fed up with it enough that I bought a Thermopro wireless. Right out of the box, it's not a pretty as the Meater, but I love that it has an internal rechargeable battery. The app setup is easy and seamless, connecting the probe is super easy and once paired, the probe connects without issue. The probe stays connected throughout the cook, which the meater never did. The only thing the Meater does that I can't find yet on the thermopro is factor in resting times to the desired temps. That's easily corrected by taking whatever you're cooking off the heat source a few minutes early. Not a big deal. Overall, I like this device a lot and I can't wait to use it more now that grilling season is coming!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I doubt it. I will stand by my words that thermoworks crap has always been overrated.
I bought this temp spike in July 2023 and have used it a dozen times, none of them satisfactorily. After initial charging I smoked a pork loin and realized the ambient temp was incorrect with no means of calibration. Within a week I tried to utilize this junk again only to find that the probe battery was weak, after only four hours of use? Reverted to my wired thermometers and charged the temp spike. Next use within a week on poultry with several issues of connectivity between the spike and the base, also probe battery was weak.
Now it's late October, charged all night only to find the probe battery weak after a couple hours into beef short ribs.
I have used this worthless junk at least a dozen times and have never been happy with it even once. It's always something.
My advice to any friend of mine would be to run away from thermoworks products and don't look back. I've had a letdown over energy product that I've ever purchased from them and will end the suffering right now.

Although my initial assessment that Thermoworks products are overrated still stands, I would like to commend the customer service I have received from Intek. After my initial review they contacted me and we have come to an amicable agreement regarding this matter.
My advice to friends at this point would be to go ahead and give it a try with full confidence that if it isn't right, they will make it right.

This is supposed to have two temperature readings, the internal and the ambient. The ambient was not even close to accurate. I'm now cross-testing the internal with 2 other thermometers. It appears to be close, but still off by a few degrees.

After my initial review, I was contacted by the folks at ThermoPro. After receiving the best customer care I've experienced in a VERY long time, I have changed my rating to FIVE stars due to the level of authentic care and concern the folks at ThermoPro exhibited in resolving my concerns. Furthermore, I would recommend anyone in the market for a wireless thermometer to consider ThermoPro simply because the folks at ThermoPro stand TALL behind their product in a manner that is relatively rare these days.

I have had it plugged in for over 24 hours, and the booster will not charge. Both the booster light and the probe light both blank red.
Edit: still doesn't charge, but I contacted support and they have sent me a replacement. Hopefully the new one will charge, but you can't beat support like that

Very happy with my investment, this is the best meat thermometer I have ever used. Range extender doesn't send signal far enough, but that's easy to overcome. Love the dual reads, both internal temp of meat and ambient temp of oven/smoker. Discovered my oven temp is about 20° lower than set for, no wonder roasts always take longer than planned. Would recommend to anyone, well worth the additional investment.

I originally purchased a different meat thermometer which didn't work well at all, so I purchased the Thermopro temp spike, what an amazing product, very user friendly with an app full of features. It can measure the meat temp while cooking as well as the ambient temp of your cooker. On the app it has a start recording button that you press when you start cooking as the meat cooks it records your cook and saves it in the history tab. As you cook you will see a timer that continuously counts down and gives you an approximate time the meat will be cook, this is a game changer, so you can go and prepare what you maybe having with your meat. When the target temp is reached it sounds an alarm so you know when the meat is cooked. The Bluetooth range is very good, if you happen to get to far away it sounds an alarm, so moving back closer reconnects automatically so never a problem. The unit is very well made and I am sure it will last for years to come

La temperatura interna la marca de forma mas o menos correcta (yo estuve monitoreando la temperatura con otro dos termómetros manuales) sin embargo la temperatura ambiente no la marca de forma adecuada (de igual forma tenía el termómetro integrado del asador y uno extra y esos dos sí coincidían) lo que dificulta moderar la temperatura de cocción, lo que implicó que la cocción se fuera de 5 horas a mas de 9.
La interfaz es poco amigable y poco personalizable, se tienen que dar de alta diferentes perfiles de cocción para lograr un buen termino del corte. Las alarmas de temp max y min no funcionan de forma correcta, por lo que si se apaga el carbón en una cocción muy larga, te darás cuenta hasta que revises de forma manual.
Por último en medio de la cocción la aplicación se desenlazó del termómetro y tuve que borrarla y volverla a instalar, ya que tuve que salir de mi departamento y al desconectarse del repetidor, ya no se enlazó de forma automática con el mismo.
Estaría devolviendo el producto si no lo hubiese pagado diferido a meses.
