My front porch is small but used daily for sitting out to enjoy the fresh air. A framed screen doors swing would take up a lot of real estate. This scene is PERFECT. It keeps out the pesky insects out while providing fresh air and easy egress. It was simple to attach to my wood frame. The magnetic closure is strong and snaps closed quickly and my dogs can come and go on the porch without letting in the bugs. We LOVE it. I have had it a few weeks. It isn't fully exposed to the elements because it is under the porch roof so I can't comment on it's durability when fully exposed but it's amazing for our needs. Highly recommend.
NOTE: I advise not attaching it all the way to the bottom but leaving the last 18 inches loose to avoid too much tension on the overall curtain when going in and out. Ours hangs straight and even (even though that last little bit on both sides isn't attached. If the curtain hadn't, I would have add some weights at the corners instead of tacking it down.
