Yo ok so I'm kinda really dumb and I wanted to draw some cool designs on my steel frame bike but I was like "there's no way this stuff holds on for more than a few days in the sun and rain" so I did a few stupid looking doodles to test how well it would stay on and see whether I needed to get a clearcoat and... Hooooo boy. This stuff does not come off metal easily. I panicked after about three days seeing zero change in the marker's boldness so I got a cloth with water and started rubbing and nothing came off. So then I'm like "yep, I'm the dumbest man alive" and started going through solvents. Here's a list:
-Water: no
-dish soap: no
-isopropyl alcohol: ok a little bit but my rag started disintegrating before I got even part of a doodle off
-WD-40: negative
-naphtha: SURELY the thing that dissolves chewing gum will work, right? No. Not at all.
-Acetone: regrettably, I do not paint my nails, so I don't have any lying around. No data, but my guess is it's probably the most effective.

Ok so yeah anyway 10/10 permanence and boldness. Time to be very careful about my drawings from here on out. Might even be making stencils.
