So far i like it, But
I did a set up out in the front yard. I got the8-10 person the big one. It's big perfect to move around and have plenty of space. Setting it up my self only was a bit of a challenge but I made it. I suggest you wear some sort of gloves that way you don't get little splinters from the pole they are made from fiberglass One more thing I wish they made the carry bad a little bigger. I had a hard time putting everything back it taking myself and my daughter to stuff this thing and literally sitting on it to zip it all the way. 😆The material is thin and I'm worry that it will get a hole quickly. I have not yet takin it to tge lakes here in Texas. When I do I will leave a better review.

Purchased this for our upcoming trip to Lake Tahoe. I got the one for 3 person. Will be using it for a family of 4. We opted in for the smaller one bc it’s light weight and easy to cary/store. Easy to set up and take down. The four of us will fit comfortably. Really meant to keep our stuff out of the Sun and give us shelter to take a break from the sun. Can easily fold back to fit in original case. If you have pitched a tent you will have no issue setting up or taking down. Can even be used as a 1/2 person tent for summer. One thing I noticed the poles seem kind of cheap. Might not last more than a year or 2. They can easily be replaced if they fail. I’ll be happy if we can get at least 2 years use out of this. Update: as I suspected when used at the lake/beach the poles are terrible when trying to take apart the tent. They are so weak that they slide out of place causing the string inside to stretch so far it feels like it’s going to break. You have to really take your time to break this down. It’s very annoying, I hope they decide to use better poles in the future sales if this item. You might be able to find aftermarket replacement poles that will work better. Be careful with these bc the fiberglass gets on your hands if you are not handling the poles with care.

It is a nice-sized tent. It held up really well against the wind. So as the umbrellas were being packed up because of the high winds we were good under our tent.

It isn't difficult to put it up at all. Folding it is another story, so I just ended up rolling it as best I could and forcing it into the small bag.

The cord inside the pole snapped after the second day of use. Not a terrible issue but it is annoying that I have now be careful not to lose any of the pieces.

Overall a good tent but I don't think it will last a very long time.

Better than I expected the tent to be - thought quality might be slightly cheaper for the cheap price, but no. Can definitely fit 3 people as it says. I bring it to the beach and read my book. You can also zip up the tarp area which is nice when I have my nephews at the beach with me and it’s hot with a battery run fan inside. And it’s also SUPER easy to roll up and package back into bag. Highly recommend!

As a beach lover, I was looking for a sun shelter that would provide ample protection and space for my family on our beach days. I decided on the Venustas beach tent based on its excellent reviews. After using it all summer, here is my assessment:

Pros:

- Very effective sun protection with UPF 50+ UV blocking material. No more sunburns!
- Surprisingly spacious interior that comfortably fits 2 adults and 2 kids.
- Multiple large windows with adjustable covers to control airflow.
- Lightweight and compact - easy for one person to carry and set up alone.
- Carry case keeps tent clean and protected during transport.

Cons:

- Fiberglass poles feel flimsy and can come apart easily during setup/takedown.
- Fabric ripped along pole channel on first use. Durability concerns.
- Only offered in limited color options - wanted more variety.
- A bit pricey for the quality compared to basic pop up tents.

Overall, the Venustas beach tent performed nicely to keep our family shaded and protected from the harsh sun, wind, and sand. However, the cheap poles and ripped fabric after one use makes me worry about its long-term durability. For the price, higher quality materials would be expected. This tent is very compact for carrying, light and airy when set up and easy to "pitch". I has only two collapsible rods that crisscross through an easy to navigate channel. Set's up in minutes. Love this tent. Used it the first time on a windy beach and it stayed strong. Love the clear instructions which is stitched in the bag. I didn't practice and was able to easily assemble it with no stress! Fits as two adults and 2 of our kids (3 and 5 year old) partially while they played sand. When it comes to packing, it made it harder because it was so windy so I wasnt able to fold it and put it back in the bag properly. Not a big DEal though, did it easily when we got back home

Back in the day this tent was the bomb. Going to all the swank nightclubs and private parties. It was top of the game.

But it's a new century. Now this tent is sad and dated. No one calls anymore unless they need to borrow a few bucks. Really shows it's age.

Poles are fragile, come apart at the slightest touch. Inserting into foot pedal takes a lot of force. Now the sleek popup tents are eating this old fogey's lunch, laughing at it's ancient pole strings. Some day those young punks will get old too.

But today's not that day. Today, this tent is ready for the glue factory. Happy trails, buckaroo.
