Used as a roll up for rivet tools
Wanted to ditch the boxes that my heavy duty pop rivet setter and rivet nut setter tools came in. This large knife roll-up carry pouch fit the bill nicely.I did have to open up and remove two seams to enlarge some of the pockets to accommodate the two handles of the rivet nut setting tool and the head of the blind rivet setter tool. I wanted to orient the two tools in opposite directions to balance out the shape of the final rolled up pouch to the make it more of a uniform cylindrical shape.I use a web strap on both ends to help hold everything together and its good to go.

This thick canvas roll is perfect for the essential knives I use day to day- a chef's knife, a slicer, and a couple of paring knives. When it's rolled up and tied, it fits neatly in a drawer. Because the top edge folds down over the knives, rolled up it is only as long as your longest knife, so it doesn't require a lot of space. I'm not a professional chef but I do cook every day and I like to use good quality knives. I keep them sharp. I used to leave my knives out for everyone to use, but guests and the other adults in the household are not as careful and were leaving the knives in the sink after using them, including a Japanese carbon steel knife that rusts, or even putting them in dishwasher, and never sharpening them. So now I have my own stash that is always clean, sharp, and ready for action!

I bought this for a Kershaw set (early, made in Japan, modular knife set). It fits everything perfectly and rolls up very nicely. I only wish that they would have set the tieing string in the middle, or added a 2nd one at the same place as they did the top. No worries, though. It still stays rolled tight.

I am pleasantly surprised by this knife roll. I have been looking at other brands and a simple as a knife roll is, the price range I was seeing was in the high $50's - 80 range. Which is too much for just a simple knife roll as opposed to a knife bag. So I went ahead and bought this and I am pleasantly impressed.

The material is a cotton canvas and so far it feels very rugged and durable. It should be able to withstand the accidental slash or stab here and there. But I am not going to test that out willingly. The folds are nice and the stitching is on point. There are 7 slots to fit your knives, 6 normal sized ones and 1 large one. The 6 normal sized slots are a bit snug but I had no problem fitting my knives in handle first. The product is indeed water resistant to a degree since it is waxed coated. But I do foresee the wax coating wearing off over time.

If you have a straight forward kitchen job requiring a small/specific amount of knives, then this knife roll is for you. If you have a lot of stuff to carry, then a knife bag would be better suited for you.
