When you are about to paint, you're supposed to shake the pen for a minute to mix the color in the pen before you draw, I didn't know that. I took 1 star away because the tip of the pen starts losing shape and then makes the lines way too big. Plus, the description for these pens is inaccurate, because the different packs all have different colors. The pack I got doesn't have a single primary color, and now I have to order a different pack, but this brand is the absolute best one I have found. Just be careful when using these on a canvas, because if you push too hard to color in your painting, you will shred the tip and the outlines that you draw in black will start to become thicker instead of being a fine tip pen anymore. It comes with 2 black pens, but if you're using them to draw outlines, they will start to shred and split. So, just be prepared to have to use a lot of black pens instead of just 2 if you're drawing outlines.

I bought these to use as a rock painting activity. The colors are vibrant and they still work well after coloring/decorating 100 rocks. They also wash off if skin easily and they are nontoxic so they are perfect doing kid projects.
