Drill a 1/4 in. pilot hole into the marked screw locations.

They operate off of mechanical timers, which is an advantage in my opinion because those I have with timers have to constantly be reset because of any brief loss of power or inaccurate time. Seems they either need to be stiffer or have some form of support in the middle. Not sure how long they will hang there before sagging too much and stop working.
