A new kitten showed up on my property sleeping in my husband‘s truck engine bay, and we immediately tried to rescue him as that was dangerous, but I did not know if he would get along with or had any medical issues that could disturb my other cats so we put him in our exercise room in the basement. we moved him into this crate after a couple of days so he had more space and one of the things I love the most about it is that I am not a very good builder of things and usually leave these kinds of projects for my husband, but I was able to build this in approximately 40 minutes even while the kitten was running around as I did it. Especially for a very young kitty, it plenty of space and sturdy. He loves jumping from layer to layer and we are now using the bottom section to teach him how to use the litter box.
I like that he can have some other space for eating and sleeping.

Perfect safe spot for cats/kittens!
I bought this for my 1 yr old Ragdoll cat to stay in after her spay surgery, and for a place to keep her at night while everyone is sleeping. She started peeing on furniture during her heat cycles, and we couldn’t watch her at night…but a crate was too small. So I bought this in hopes it would help me keep my sanity.She LOVES it! I added some fun extras (all from Amazon) and she really enjoys spending time in her “kitten castle.” The older cat in the house doesn’t appreciate her rambunctiousness and this gives her a safe place to go that keeps her (and us) happy at bedtime. She will eve. hang out in there during the day with all the doors open.Set up was super easy, my ten year old and I put it together ourselves in less than 45 minutes. You could do it alone if needed, it’s not difficult at all! The latches open and close smoothly, and it’s adorable. Multiple doors make it easy to clean. Overall, very happy with this purchase! It’s a perfect safe and fun place to keep your cats.
