Love this humidifier!
I absolutely love this humidifier. I’ve always had allergies and have gone through lots of humidifiers in the past, including others from this same brand (Levoit). I got this one because I wanted something with both warm and cool mist and WOW is it awesome. Super easy to refill, and the app is very intuitive and easy to use. I was having a rough day recovering from a sinus infection and the warm mist was perfect - it was like turning on the hot water in the shower to fill the room with steam, but less heavy and hot and more soothing and comfortable, plus I was cozy in bed, too. It also runs very quietly, and doesn’t have that musty smell I’ve experienced with some other brands of cheaper humidifiers. Highly recommend!!

    I love this one! I have purchased a few in the past, this one is my favorite. I now have two of them! I love the top loading water feature. It's simple, take the lid off, fill with distilled water and put the lid back on. You can even turn the lights off on it for a restful nights sleep. It's quiet and works very good. Warm or cold humidity...it's great!

    We replaced the flooring throughout our apartment with hardwood and were told to keep the Relative Humidity at 30%+ to avoid cracking the planks in Winter. We bought two of these superb humidifiers and placed one in the main bedroom to help the climate in there. It is so quiet, runs smoothly and does not waste water at all. I think that we get almost 48 hours from one tank ant continuous use. Even the vapor trails make us happy.

    When I first started using a humidifier, I relied on those cheap models that barely produced any mist. I never knew the actual humidity level in my room and just went with whatever it could manage. Despite using one, I still woke up with a dry nose, sore throat, or cough. When I saw the price of this humidifier, I hesitated, but I ultimately decided it was worth investing in a high-quality product rather than another ineffective, budget option.

    I’m so glad I did. While the extra features like Alexa integration are nice, the real standout is how well this unit works. Our home, an older house with poor insulation, typically sits at around 20% humidity due to East Coast weather in winter. This humidifier can raise that to 55% within an hour and has even reached 70%, which is impressive given how easily air escapes from our home.

    If you’re considering this humidifier, I highly recommend it. However, if you have hard water like we do (we’re on well water rather than city water), using distilled water would be ideal if your budget allows. The unit reminds you to clean it more often than necessary, but ignoring the notifications for too long can lead to calcium and mineral buildup, which affects performance. Additionally, if you use well water, you’ll notice a fine dust settling on surfaces—this is just mineral residue. If that bothers you, distilled water is the way to go. Otherwise, if you don’t mind the minor buildup, well water works just fine.

    PROS:

    * Nice large size. I poured in a whole gallon of distilled water and there was still room left in the reservoir.

    * The water reservoir comes out completely for cleaning and has a handle for easy carrying.

    * The controls are simple, including both cool and warm mist options, a timer, a sleep function, and several options for rate.

    * The smart app is convenient if you want to control multiple units in various parts of the house, and there is a scheduling feature.

    * There are two adjustable nozzles.

    * Nice, quiet operation.

    CONS:

    * I chose this model pver some others for its built-in hygrometer, but it’s highly inaccurate. I tested it against three other hygrometers, moving them every 15 minutes for an hour. All three read 35–36%, while this unit showed 59%. Even without these visual comparisons, the air didn’t feel even close to as humid as the reading suggested.

    * Since I have other hygrometers, the built-in one doesn't need to be precise. However, without it, the app is useful only as a remote control. The app tracks humidity over time, but its reports are meaningless without accurate readings from the machine.

    * There is a little side door with a pad for essential oils, but I'm not sure much, if any, of the EOs get into the mist. I couldn't smell them at all.

    Had this for over a month now. It is VERY quiet indeed and won't disturb your sleep, which is the main reason I go for this brand and make. Some reviews said it's doesn't work very well as a diffuser, I occasionally use it with essential oil, 12-15 drops as recommended, whilst it isn't overwhelmingly strong or fill the entire room with scent, you can certainly smell the essential oil. In fact it is nice that the aroma is on the subtle side. 5 stars for its performance and practicality.
