Caveat: The swing sounds were sometimes working or not working on my first saber. I emailed customer support and a new saber arrived at my doorstep in 2 days. Never seen customer service that quick before! If I could give 4.5 stars I would change it to that.
For the lightsaber beginners, the main advantage with the "pixel" or "neopixel" saber over the cheaper "RGB" lightsabers: You get individually controlled LED's along the length of the blade, so you can perform extension and retraction effects that you can't do with RGB lightsabers. The light intensity is also consistent along the entire blade and doesn't fade like the RGB sabers which only emit at the base. Just be careful to not strike the blade hard or else the LED's in that section may go dead.

A great starter “Neopixel” style blade, but temper your expectations.
This is a good starter saber, but don’t be fooled into thinking that this is anything close to any neo pixel saber you’d see on tiktok or YouTube. While the blade light output of the blade is pretty good, (The Red, Blue, & Green colors being especially vibrant, see the image for a comparison, Product on the left, LGT Xenopixel blade on the right) anything in between is very washed out. While this is technically a Neopixel blade, it is very cheaply made, and does not detach like an actual neo does to my knowledge. If I’m correct it’s just a hollow RGB saber blade with a led strip wrapped in foam shoved up into it. Though I could have just removed it incorrectly, but I didn’t want to risk damaging it so I could be completely wrong.For anyone wondering on the quality of the board and audio. It’s not great. The speaker is very low quality, and not very loud. And the “smooth swing” audio is the same “swoosh” sound looped every time you move it slightly. It gets annoying and I muted it (the callouts for the mute and unmute is in Chinese haha) right after removing it out of the box. Though if you’re buying this for a kiddo, I don’t think they’ll particularly mind the audio. I could not find any sort of tip drag, but it does have flash on clash so there’s that!There is no sound font swapping, and if there is, I couldn’t find out how, as the instructions are vague and in broken English. All I could get it to do is say “Remember, let the force be with you” or something to that effect. The man who recorded that has a heavy Chinese accent so I couldn’t really understand it between that and the poor quality speaker.And the board is very simple compared to anything else on the market, the draw and ignition is painfully slow and the color control on the blade is leagues behind my Xenopixel (seen in the video included, Product on the left, Xenopixel on the right) the battery is soldered to the board, and there is no SD card to customize.On the positive side, the weight balance and really nice. And the hilt is extremely comfortable, so this would make a good spinning saber.To summarize, if you wanted to get a saber to kind of jump in on before dishing out the budget on something like a Xeno or Proffie Neo. Or if you’re buying this for a kiddo who is a big fan of Star Wars, then this is perfect for you. Then this is perfect! It’s a fine starter saber, but if you’re buying this expecting the level of customization, or polish of a LGT Saber or Custom made saber. Then you’ll be disappointed.

This is a perfect addition to your toy or cosplay collection. I was a bit worried after receiving the box because it felt a little light so I was afraid it was going to feel cheaply made but once I opened it and held it in my hand, I was really surprised at how solid it actually feels. It has some weight to it which is comforting because it feels like it was made to last.
The light options are nice and the transitions between colors are really smooth. The instructions are straight and to the point on how to operate it, not that there’s much to it anyways but I feel like anybody can figure it out. There is a mute option which is nice because you’re not always in the mood for the sounds. I haven’t been able to get the “clank” sound from it as if you were in a fight but it definitely has the sound of you swinging it around, shutting it down, and turning it on. I’m not even sure if it’s supposed to make that particular sound of battle but I would assume so. Upon further inspection I don’t think it makes that sound, unfortunately. I like it best on mute anyways. Regardless, if you’re looking for a less expensive replica of the heavy duty brand name, this should be right up your lane. I’m happy with my purchase.
