Customers like the functionality of the cell phone grip. They say it looks good, works great, and is sturdy. Many consider it a worthwhile product if you don't like permanent accessories.
"...my phone and who usually has a dog with me, these Loops have been true life savers (phone savers, really)...." Read more
"...for my hands (basically exactly as shown in the stock photo) and it works great. Also works when doing the charging built into a Tesla. 10/10." Read more
"...Think about that. Over 10$. And it doesn't even function. A limp, lifeless ribbon that has no home...." Read more
"Great product, but I can't get my charger to stay in most times with the thickness of it...." Read more
Customers like the grip. It makes holding their phone easier, adheres well, and doesn't slip. The straps attach securely and have outlasted previous phone cases. They can slide fingers from both hands behind it or use just one finger. It's comfortable to use with either hand and you can put 2-3 fingers through it, or better, use thumb and forefinger.
"...I like that I can slip fingers from both hands behind it, or use just one finger, or have one under and one over to kind of “lock” it in place...." Read more
"...The straps attach securely and have outlasted my previous phone cases...." Read more
"...It's made my phone easier to hold with multiple activities: walking, playing games, hanging it on a public bathroom stall hook, watching videos when..." Read more
"...-unlike a loop or a pop socket, your finger can slide up and down along most of the case even if you have it pretty tight, making the grip a little..." Read more
Customers like the design of the cell phone grip. They find it sturdy, with a cute and fun print. The material is nice and the adhesive seems good.
"...Finally, they have some pretty cool designs, and if you visit they’re site they tend to introduce special designs throughout the year..." Read more

"...These are solid, reliable and look good. Great idea and best way to keep your phone close." Read more
Customers have different views on the adhesive strength of the cell phone grip. Some find it has a strong adhesive and sticks easily to covers. Others mention that the adhesive doesn't last, some loops don't stick well, and the ribbon is not attached to the adhesive properly.
"...Another con, is using it with clear cases, where the adhesive part can look a bit unattractive (as seen on the pictured cobalt case)...." Read more
"Love this much better.than the pop sockets that don't stick. Very stylish!" Read more
"...adhesive no matter how much I stretch it because the ribbon is not attached to the adhesive...." Read more
"...Over a week of use, the ribbon is the perfect tension. Holding the phone is much more natural in my left hand than using the Loopy Case...." Read more
Customers have different views on the cell phone grip's durability. Some find it practical and useful, with strong tape that doesn't come off easily. They consider it a high-quality product that stops cracking phones. Others mention the fabric doesn't seem very durable, starting to show signs of wear and tear, and the material is different than expected, more like stiff ribbon than stretchy.
"...It feels pretty sturdy after installed properly too. Not a bad option!..." Read more
"...With all that said, Phone Loops are not perfect, they have to be replaced every few months...." Read more
"The strap is nice and sturdy. I love that it lays flat and doesn't add bulk to the phone...." Read more
"...Gorgeous strap tho, nice sturdy material, and adhesive seemed like it might last a couple months!" Read more
Customers are unhappy with the cell phone grip's stretchiness. They mention it's not stretchy, has no elasticity, and is not flexible. Some say it does stretch out a little over time but it doesn't affect how well it works.

"...After a week or so I also noticed it stretching around the areas it was coming out of the case...." Read more
"...; and 2, I barely used it for a week and it kept stretching out...." Read more
Customers are unhappy with the fit of the cell phone grip. They say it's too tight, too wide, or too short for their phones and cases. Some find it too bulky for their kindle covers to snap back into the covers.
"...But the thickness of this ribbon made it impossible to fit back on my phone...." Read more
"...However, since it loops through one of the speaker holes, my case wouldn't fit properly around my phone in that area...." Read more

"...There is a little slack, unlike what is shown in the pictures, because of the room for my fingers...." Read more
Customers are unhappy with the value for money of the cell phone grip. They say it's not worth the price tag for a one-time use ribbon, and that it doesn't fit snugly, making the case pop out easily.
"This strip of ribbon serves its purpose- a little pricey for a strip of ribbon with some heavy-duty double stick tape...." Read more
"...For $10 this feels a bit overpriced, if you are crafty, you can find anything with very thin fabric (use logic for thickness) and a pattern you like..." Read more
"I for one will say I’m an idiot for assuming this expensive piece of ribbon with adhesive on it would also come with a phone case...." Read more

- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2020Color: DoggyVerified PurchaseI’ve been purchasing from Phone Loops for some time now, and continue to love Phone Loops and purchasing them for almost every phone case that I purchase; so nothing made me happier than when they started selling on Amazon and offering Prime shipping. That meant being able to purchase a case locally, and having a Phone Loop for it within a day or two. Sometimes I’ll purchase cases from manufacturers that take a couple of weeks to ship; which in that case I would order directly from Phone Loops since they sell the Loops for less on their site, have more options, and will usually offer bundling discounts and free shipping when buying a few (just keep in mind that they ship from Canada and can take up to two weeks to arrive - so that’s where it’s worth paying a bit more for Prime). Anyways, as someone who takes a lot of pictures with my phone and who usually has a dog with me, these Loops have been true life savers (phone savers, really). Before Phone Loops I would end up dropping my smartphones and shattering the screens (or phone, if it was made of glass), so I heavily depended on either the warranty on the device for a repair/replacement and/or on having a big ugly and bulky phone case. There’s also all the times when I’ve been close to dropping my phone into water or off a cliff - no longer the case. With a loop on my phone case I’ve taken my phone on every hiking trip, jumped off planes (skydiving), taken it on rock climbing adventures, white water rafting, and other adventures without having to worry about dropping my phone. For those claiming that Pop Sockets are better, not going to argue with you, Pop Sockets are awesome and have saved me multiple times; but, I just find that with a Phone Loop I have a tighter hold on the phone. With a Pop Socket, I have dropped phones because of my dog pulling me; never with a Phone Loop. In fact, I have a Pop Wallet on one my cases (pictured), and that case also has a Phone Loop on it.
With all that said, Phone Loops are not perfect, they have to be replaced every few months. I have never had one snap or lose the adhesive; but, like any fabric, they age and start looking old and dirty (you can see some aging on the pictures I posted). On a really thin case, or a case designed to tightly hold the phone, it may make it harder to get the phone into the case; but even with something as minimal as the carbon fiber LaterCase, I can still use a Phone Loop and snap the phone safely into the case - it’s just a matter of making sure that the Phone Loop does not overlap (the LaterCase is the center case in the images). Another con, is using it with clear cases, where the adhesive part can look a bit unattractive (as seen on the pictured cobalt case). There’s also the argument or making this at home and saving a lot of money, and that’s a legitimate point - you are paying for nothing more than a piece of ribbon with adhesive on it. Personally, as someone who just doesn’t have ribbon or adhesive sitting at home, and as someone not interested in buying more ribbon and adhesive than I need, I’m fine paying Phone Loops. As previously mentioned, I have never had their product snap, rip, or lose stickiness on me; so I trust whatever materials they are using over something I could use at home. Finally, they have some pretty cool designs, and if you visit they’re site they tend to introduce special designs throughout the year (not all make it on Amazon, unfortunately).
I also just realized how much I’ve typed over a piece of sticky ribbon :-)
...so in short, highly recommend it, it’s a must if you do anything adventures (including dog walking), and it will save your phone!!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024Color: FlamingoVerified PurchaseI bought this after having a lot of finger pain from popsockets and ring loops. I figured it was cheap, there was nothing to lose. I bought it back in 2023.
First of all, I have never had any hand/finger pain from this AT ALL. I find I get to hold my phone in much more natural ways - I have small hands, and tend to buy the big versions of phones (typing this on an iPhone 15 Pro Max). I like that I can slip fingers from both hands behind it, or use just one finger, or have one under and one over to kind of “lock” it in place. I feel I have so many more options than any other holder.
The color is definitely not as vibrant as it once was, but I have been HARD on this thing. My phone has fallen into mud, been in the back pocket of dark blue jeans, has come with me camping… so no complaints.
The material has maybe stretched out a little since I first put it on, but there’s no fraying or rips or anything.
But the big factor that has me writing a review for a phone accessory I got almost a year ago is the adhesion - I just got a new phone, and it would be a few days before a new loop could be delivered. I was trying to make it work with a popsocket and hated my life. I remembered that it was supposedly re-positionable but had low hopes, since I had had it stuck inside a phone case for almost a year.
It came off the inside of the old case SO easily. I do have slightly longer fingernails, so it made it easy to get it peeling off, but I didn’t need to get a like metal credit card or break a nail to do it (looking at you, popskockets). It left NO residue at all. I was then able to easily re-adhere it to the new phone case and adjust it a few times to find the right fit, since the size of the phone was even bigger than my old one. Once I got it into place, I put the case back on my phone to test it, and the hold is just as strong as it was on the original installation!
AND I did check, with the way I have it positioned at least, I can successfully MagSafe and it is able to charge! I didn’t do anything fancy to get it working, just put it on with a MagSafe case in a way that works for my hands (basically exactly as shown in the stock photo) and it works great. Also works when doing the charging built into a Tesla. 10/10.
