What do you get in the package?1. A great headlamp and detachable pocket flashlight combo - $10.002. 2 x CR123A Energizer Lithium Batteries - $8.003. 1 x Rechargeable 2600mah 18650 battery - $7.004. 1 x Charging Cable - $2.00Why is this the best value in headlamps right now? Simple, It's a great headlamp/flashlight and the sum of it's parts cost far more than what you get in this combo. I put low end numbers on each item for what you would pay for something comparable. $27.00 total is what I came up with. And I doubt the $10 headlamp you find will be as good, let along dual function as a pocket flashlight. Just my thoughts on this, but I have 5 of these already and have gifted 5 more. People have no idea it's a $16.00 flashlight. Even the flashlight people I know who carry streamlights, surefires, Malkoffs, etc.. they are impressed with what you get for $16.00, and put their money where their mouths were to pick 1 or 2 up for tool boxes, etc.. GREAT LIGHT and an insanely low price.

    I buy and use many different styles of headlamps. When I find headlamps that are detachable and or have multiuse ability I am very excited to give them a thorough performance and reliability testing.
    This hybrid headlamp-flashlight is well built and tough. The turbo mode is extremely bright. The runtime is acceptable. One of the best features for me is that it uses x1 18650 or 2x CR123 (all 3 are included) batteries, the 18650 is rechargeable and removeable. Since I have many rechargeable 18650's I can keep this torch in use for long periods of time.

    CONCLUSION= AWESOME DEAL!!
    MULTI FUNCTIONABLE, BRIGHT, WELL BUILT & UNIQUE.

    I’m pretty active and bought this initially for a handheld flashlight for running at night. It is wickedly bright and lasts a long time. With its strap, I am also able to use it as a headlamp. I have used it in tandem with my gravel bike lights. The strap is actually so adjustable, my daughter, who is a freshman in college, is able to use it around her waist for running at night. The light last a long time, I’ve used it for HOURS on night bike rides as the strap Enables you to affix it to a handlebar.

    I like the fact it is rechargeable, I especially like the fact that the batteries are replaceable. The only thing I am somewhat sad about is the durability of the charger cover. It is a small rubber cover that if you use this light enough, it will break off, it will stay on usable, but it will be easy to lose. It doesn’t change the functionality of the light and I am so happy with the overall performance of this light I will continue to give it a five star despite this. I would assume you could just cover it with the piece of duct, tape or something if you are using it in extremely wet or dusty conditions.

    Light performance very similarly to a lot of other multifunction lights. Click and hold, click through the different intensity, etc..So super easy to use. I actually told one of my friends about this. He is a avid thru-hiker and has ridden multiple times across the United States on his bike. He is now into multi day gravel bike adventures and he was so impressed by my light and it’s versatility that he bought two.

    I'm not kidding. I've tested a couple dozen different headlamps of different battery types, different price levels, etc. NONE last as long as this at anywhere near this brightness. There's one well-known brand for $100 that lasts 6 hours, but at about 2/3 this brightness. Another one lasts almost 6 hours, but at about half the brightness of this one. Another one lasts about 4 1/2 hours, but at about half the brightness of this one. None of them were brigher than this, but this one lasts 8 hours at a pretty steady brightness. It's crazy. Let me explain the brightness in more detail.

    First of all, it makes me CRAZY MAD that almost every headlight I have ever tested all the way from $7 to $100 start off super bright and immediately (or in a relatively short time) they begin dimming, and they end up at like 1/2 or 1/3 of their original brightness. WHY DO MANUFACTURERS THINK WE WANT THAT?? THAT STINKS!! Ok, having said that, I have to tell you that this Energizer Hybrid 1000 headlight does that too. Sorry to say that. BUT HERE'S THE THING...with many headlamps, after that initial dimming, the headlight is too dim, or it just doesn't last very long, or both.

    But it's better with this Energizer headlamp. After the initial brightness drops over the next 40 minutes, the brightness it settles in at is still quite bright...and it THEN IT STAYS PRETTY CONSISTENT UNTIL THE 8 HOUR POINT!! It's hard to tell you that it will be bright enough for your needs, but for me, I use to work outside on the car at night, I use it in the garage, I use it in the yard, and it's bright enough for everything I need. I'm not kidding...8 hours.

    Okay, but what about the beam pattern and size? Well it's not a flood beam, it's more of a spot beam. But it's not a small beam, it's reasonably wide. And it's also not like super bright right in the middle, it's fairly spread out. I quite like it.

    Okay, but what about the color temperature of the light? Well, I admit, I prefer a headlamp that is a little more yellow than this. This is quite white, and maybe slightly bluish. It's not my favorite. But here's the thing, this headlamp provides light, and plenty of it, and in a very usable pattern, for 8 hours. It's comfortable to wear, the battery can be swapped out if you have a spare or it can be charged right in the flashlight with a micro-USB cable, it has versitile angle positioning, AND IT'S ONLY $15-ish!!

    I'm giving this 5 stars...not because it does everything better than every other flashlight, but because it does the most important things as good or better than most flashlights, and lasts longer than any of them, with fairly good consistency, and for pocket-change cost. I know some people will be snobby about having the perfect color temperature or might get hung up on one or the other specific features that aren't perfect. But overall, I defy you to find a flashlight as usable as this for anywhere even close to this price. I bought multiples, and I've been using them for a year, and I'm still tickled with them.

    I have had this for a few months now and it's performed admirably. very well built case. The range of light and the power has been stellar. The only reduction in star is the cable is micro USB instead of USB-C - that is minor but you gotta keep the cable when everything else I own is USB-C now. But for this performs like much more expensive head lights and costs a fraction.
    I will probably buy another one for back up.
