My first order got stolen off my porch during the holiday season, but thankfully Amazon replaced it for me. I'm glad it all worked out, because this extended reach grabber is pretty awesome! It's well-made, foldable & has lots of handy features like the magnet & gripping function. I love that the hinges lock in place, because I've had other ones that will droop if you don't hold them a specific way. With the locking mechanisms, you can hold this grabber anywhich way & it'll stay firmly extended.
As a bonus, I even found that if you want to unlock one or the other hinge in order to grab something that fell behind a piece of furniture or whatever, you can still control the gripping function even at that 90° angle due to the thin but strong cable running thru the pole segments. (Which is great for me, because my arm is too chunky & too short to reach behind stuff, but this grabber isn't!)
