My first experience with Manuka was with really bad cracked hands lotion moisturiser wax I used them all and although they help with the pain they won’t let them heal and if you leave them dry they simply get worse I put the Manuka honey on the cracks every day and covered them with bandaids And in no time all better About five years ago I cut my Thumb in half long ways on a tablesaw It literally looked like a crabs claw ,fortunately they saved it , few years after it was all healed winter came and my hands were exceptionally dry probably from chemicals and my thumb started to split where The doctor had stitched my thumb back together. It was opening deep and wide I tried everything including new stitches but because of the the dead skin and the scar tissue it was just getting worse after hearing about the manukau honey from my friend I Simply applyed a liberal amount of the Manuka honey Every day and wrapped it in bandages and Band-Aids it only took a week or so to notice a dramatic improvement and after a few more weeks it was completely healed truth be told I don’t think I needed to have it wrapped up for so long I have seen it treat Mersa successfully my friends Rottweiler had knee surgery and unfortunately it became infected after weeks of treatment and no improvement they had run out of options. every day the dog had to go and have the wound cleaned out which meant the wound never had a chance to close It was actually getting worse. after weeks of this endless cycle and many bills later with no end in sight for this poor dog. A breeder suggested The Manuka honey , at first the owner was reluctant and I was very pessimistic but also persistent so against the surgeons advice she started covering the wound with The Manuka honey every day she simply added more honey and changed the dressing The change was unbelievable Within a few weeks It had almost completely sealed I cannot speak more highly about anything it is natures cure all. simply amazing!!!!! This is 100% true and I would challenge anybody who doesn’t believe it !!!!! I am no doctor I am a carpenter. I but I have seen modern medicine fail and those bees from New Zealand somehow Have the right stuff

    This bottle of Manuka Honey UMF 20+ has cured my sinus staph infection in the past. It was pretty incredible, since modern medicine was unable to help me at the time. Because doctors kept urging me to take antibiotics, I've become immune to them now. I've turned to natural remedies for solutions that help fight the baddies while healing my mind and body.

    During my staph infection, I'd been in really bad shape for many weeks before I began using this honey. My nose was completely congested, with nasty mucus and blood, headache and sinus pressure. I had to use Afrin every day which is really not good, but I couldn't breathe otherwise. I began using this bottle of UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) 20+ because I knew I needed the more potent strength for my infection. I ate a small spoonful every day (I spread it on toast, put some in tea), and when I got to the end of the bottle, I was still experiencing issues but I knew it was starting to get better.

    I took a gamble because of the cost, and purchased a second bottle, this time choosing the UMF 15+. By the time I got to the end of that bottle, my severe sinus staph infection had just cowered into the darkness, and I was triumphant. It was pretty miraculous. If I'd simply skipped the doctors, ENT specialist, co-pays and meds that hurt my body, this would have been a much healthier, cheaper, more effective way to go.

    For skin infections, you can apply manuka honey to the area, and many people choose to blend it with manuka essential oil. The oil smells pretty horrible, but if you've got problems, it's worth it. For everyday maintenance and prevention, UMF 10+ or lower works well. For an infection, I'd use at least UMF 15+.

    The taste of this manuka honey is amazing and wonderful. I've tried other manuka honeys and none have matched the sweet, rich taste of Kiva's. I did notice a difference in the taste between the two UMFs. The UMF 20+ tastes stronger, slightly more medicinal, but it's still delicious. I found the UMF 15+ to have a slightly gentler, sweeter taste that I prefer. But since I'm dealing with a sinus infection now, I'm using the UMF 20+ jar.

    The rim around the plastic jar gets very sticky and it gets difficult to screw the top on straight. Be really careful not to spill the honey there, or make sure to lick or clean it up if you do. This will really help you later!
    Manuka Honey is one of the best medicines nature has to offer us. Please don't waste your money on the cheap bulk kind without any UMF rating! If you're serious about your health and about healing naturally, this product is probably one of the most effective weapons to put in your arsenal. I am a customer for life.

I kid you not, in ten minutes, he sat up, started eating, asked to watch a movie, and was sitting up laughing with his brother about it. (And it isn't like we don't already take beneficial stuff like vitamin c, elderberry, vitamin d3, host defense medicinal mushrooms). I think this product is a must have. I have used Trader Joe manuka when ill before but I haven't been shocked at the immediate turn around or anything though I'm sure it helped in its iwn way. This brand must be super strong.

    Btw another story about manuka.....My nephew had a piece of wood in the side of his foot....got infected. His dad made a drawing salve of manuka honey, charcoal and clay and packed the site. The next morning, they found a ONE INCH SLIVER OF WOOD had been drawn out. His foot is fine now. It is very expensive though so keep it for more serious needs. A little does go a long way because it is very very thick and creamy.

    It showed up quick, perfect Condition, several tamper resistant I had to get thru to open it.
    1st- I noticed within an hour of taking it- my bloating went away, and I don't feel like I am going to explode after eating. (Before I had to chew spearmint gum to attempt to get rid of the bloating)
    2nd- I noticed my sore throat went away and I no longer feel like I have something stuck in my throat or that it is swollen.
    3rd-I slept very well last night.
    I have just received this but so far I am impressed. I will update after a few weeks.

    UPDATE-I am on my 3rd bottle! Still VERY impressed. I take it 2x a day once in the morning, once in the afternoon. I use plastic spoons-(I have a full open box sitting next to it)-I read it helps keep the ingredients at the grade purchased..true or not..I am not sure but either way it works well for me.
    I sleep well, and I am feeling great! I personally can notice a difference.
