Much better in function than a Grace Digital unit it replaced. Tuning is good and some selections are not available including Chromecast, but retention is better as a Grace Digital unit first lost memory of settings and later lost its search support and Internet Radio intermediary service so that it had been a hassle and eventually a useless box.
Sound quality is very good and programming interface is very acceptable. I see no reason to waste smartphone or computer time with the radio transmission when a more specific interface can work as well and spare those other units for their more significant functions.

A great bookshelf/tabletop stereo with vintage appeal and modern tech features
This is a wonderful bookshelf/tabletop stereo that has a vintage aesthetic while offering many modern tech features and functions. It would look great in an office, study, or guest room. The most important thing to know is that it sounds terrific. It has deep rich bass and very clear mid-high range. It can play local FM stations (it has an extendible/adjustable antenna), connect your mobile device via Bluetooth, play content from an inserted micro-SD card, connect to a media server, or you can search through thousands of internet radio stations and filter down to any country and any genre. It even will let you search specifically for podcasts. It also offers a nice equalizer function with preset and advanced modes. The large LCD display is easy to read and will let you see a lot of the content information (artist/title/album/station). You can also display the date/time, set up to two alarms, and set a sleep timer. All of the functions can be controlled from the console itself or via the included remote control. The only negative about this stereo is that there is no built-in rechargeable battery, so you'll have to keep it plugged in with the included, old-world AC brick power adapter. I still think this stereo is worth all 5 stars and highly recommend.
