Extra large finger and thumb loops make these comfortable to use for those of us with larger hands. I'm left-handed, and these work for both me and my right-handed wife equally well. Absurdly sharp, they have cut everything I've tried with ease and perfection. Looking at the blades, I don't see serrations, but as you cut you can feel the slight feel of serrations in the cutting motion.
