    As I’ve been gardening for around 40 years, I’ve bought and used lots of hoses. I’ve learned through trial and error to always look for kink free/kink resistant hoses (which aren’t always true statements). I’ve also learned to stay away from expandable hoses, they are fine but the material likes to drag on my grass. Since I am lucky enough to be an Amazon Vine reviewer, what I’ve been using on that faucet is a garden hose that automatic retracts that I reviewed a few years ago. That automatic retractor is wonderful because I hate coiling up hoses and I think that is a man skill that I don’t have (like superior backing up skills). However, the hose was skinny so there wasn’t any water pressure and recently I ended up yanking the hose near the connection to the faucet and it was spraying water all over the place so it’s no longer usable. This hose is the normal size and I love the water pressure. It’s lightweight enough that you can easily pull it around the yard with no issues. It hasn’t kinked on me yet. I also love that it’s made in the USA, as a union member that is important to me. The material is a normal hose material that is flexible and easily maneuverable. I have high hopes that this will last many years.

    So far so good. I needed a shorter hose and this one fits the bull. It has held out well in the sunny weather so far. I will definitely consider this brand in the future.

    Our hoes developed a leak at the connection with the brass fitting. The hose gets fairly light use, and we have only had it for a short time so this is definitely a big defect. I mean, how many parts do you have on a hose? You would think that this one part would be attached really well. .
    It is possible that we simply got a bad unit from a production batch, but considering how difficult it is to get a replacement, the warranty is pretty worthless.
