That stand easily holds a bought prefilled 70lb bag easy... So far the grips that come hold it steady.. put it in the corner so it doesn't slide.. now slide it does I believe one bags to light it could definitely hold a 100lb no sweat.. and once you start really whacking the bag instead of just popping it you can get it to move .it does stay still pretty well if you don't Tyson it.. setup took about 30 mins all parts were wrapped up good.. box was beat to $&!+ But all the pieces were there not scratched due today being packed an wrapped nicely.. liked that.. used the Allen wrench key they sent with my own socket ratchet to tighten.. real easy.. buy this... Worth it

    This is an excellent piece of equipment, that is, as long as you don't hit your bag too hard. Me? my 100lb heavy bag, and some mild thai kicks, moved the stand a good two feet. Tried with some weights on the bottom and it simply doesn't make a difference. I'll just get a smaller bag and use it for light bag work. I recommend you do the same.
