Dishes go in looking very bad, as they were sitting dirty for MONTHS, haha, and they come out looking spotless, very impressive. Use the Cascade Platinum Plus Pods! No tank/mandatory hook up to sink is actually better, as it allows the unit to fit under the countertop, plus you need the sink connection to properly do an intensive 2 hour load, unless you wanna keep refilling a tank in the middle of the wash, as I'm sure you'd have to do with that style of dishwasher. I'll try the normal hour setting eventually, but I like all the different options this has. Just big enough, though you have to get crafty for big plates,
it drains and dries very well, the door and light are nice, and best of all you save $70-$130+ compared to other brands with similar products, which may or may not at best basically only have the benefit of slightly more room, which is a trade off for counterspace anyway! It looks cool too. Make sure the hoses are all set up well, I thought mine was broken at first, lol, and cut the drainage hose as it's too long.
***edit: the slight leaking and spraying from the sink adaptor to the inlet hose is a non issue, just drape a wash cloth over it and problem solved, the water pressure is still very strong for the dishes as long as you crank both the hot and cold handles on the faucet. (Required adapter was 10 bucks at the local Ace)
