However the black circular fork piece that goes around the top fell into the oil and warped. Now unusable. Good news is that it’s totally unnecessary since the forks stay in place just fine without it.

    I thought this would be a decent fondue pot for occasional use at home. Unfortunately, the pot arrived broken. This partly could be due to packaging, but the handles are made of a cheap plastic that would not be durable in the long run. Ended up buying the more expensive but more durable Cuisnart while Amazon was running a sale.

    I ordered this for a fondue party and it arrived promptly with all the features listed. It cooked our meat perfectly. The only thing that I would criticize is the plug in apparatus. It is magnetic and the piece sticks up and kind of gets in the way of cooking and makes the cord be higher in the air and not laying down on the table where people won't bump it.

    If you’ve used standard electric fondue pot(s) before, this pot works very similarly. It held a stable temperature relatively well. I don’t use this style of pot for cheese or chocolate fondues, since the coil element tends to scorch the fondue over it, but they work fantastically for broth fondues. They’re very easy to use, can hold 8+ cups of broth, and made a great fondue.

    This fondue pot works exactly how I was hoping and expected. Melts the chocolate evenly and keeps it warm without burning. Chocolate always tastes good and I haven't noticed any negative affect on the flavors. It's really easy to set up and use. Pretty easy to clean up after usage. The color coded sticks are a nice touch so you keep up with your own stick. Overall a good functional pot for a good price. Great for entertaining and super convenient to set up and use.
