    I’m an enthusiastic knitter with a penchant for casting on new projects without finishing WIPs, meaning I constantly need more needles. My primary set is Lykke 5-inch, and I also have sets of KnitPro shorties & the metal needles. This set is compatible with those cables/needles, and is surprisingly nice for the price. The needles are pointier than either Lykke or KnitPro—more comparable to ChiaGoo. I prefer my needles a bit less sharp, as I knit continental and push the needle tip frequently, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The surface is not as slick as other metal needles, but not as grippy as bamboo—I find it similar to the varnished wood of Lykke. The cables are really flexible and join securely. The transition from cable to needle is a little more abrupt than my other sets, so I do sometimes have to coax the stitches along, but again, it’s not a big deal. The case is cute and functional if a bit cheap-feeling. Overall I would definitely recommend this for beginning knitters who don’t want to splurge on expensive sets but still want a range of needle options, and I would also recommend it as a portable backup set for dedicated knitters. The quality for the price is a steal.

    UPDATE/EDIT: these aren’t actually compatible with Lykke/KnitPro as the screws are slightly different sizes. However, I’ve been using them daily since I received them and I enjoy them so much that I don’t mind. I’ll probably buy another set, in fact—the cables are my favorites I’ve ever used.

    I have several different brands of knitting needles. ChaioGoo, Addi, HiyaHiya, Signature, Knit Pro, Brittany, and probably a few that I've forgotten. I bought these on a whim, and they aare lovely! The join is the equivalent of Signature, HiyaHiya, ChaioGoo, and Karbonz. The tips are sharp, and much like ChaioGoo, Addi, and ChaioGoo lace. I'm very surprised at the (very) reasonable price. The price of this set wouldn't be out of line if it was three or four times more.
    I've been knitting for 70 years and more and I knit every day. These are very nice needles. As good as anything I have, and most cost a great deal more than this set. ONE Signature single point pair costs double what this entire set cost.

    Great quality set. I've been using bamboo I interchangeables for about a decade and have really grown to like my fixed circular Addi turbos in the past year. I bought this set to see if there was something comparable to my expensive circulars that had a variety of options and these do quite nicely for the price. This set has smooth joins, the cables are better than my Addis, and they are very lightweight for portability. The only issue I had was the first set I got had a lightly sticky residue on several of the needle tips. I exchanged for a new set but had the same issue. I cleaned them all with isopropyl alcohol and the residue came right off. Must be a manufacturing leftover but easily solved. Highly recommend!

    I bought these because I left my (*much* more expensive) interchangeable needle set on an airplane and I wanted to continue a project quickly before researching something pricier to replace them with.

    These are really nice needles and after using them for a few days I won’t be getting something more expensive after all!

    There is one thing buyers should be aware of: in other sets I have owned, the cord lengths *include* the length of the needles, and that is not the case with these. For example, with these the 16 inch cord is 16 inches on its own, so when you attach the needles it’s actually much longer. I had to augment this set with another set of smaller circumference circular needles for instances when I need a 16 inch cord inclusive of needles (sweater collars, sleeves etc). Of course you can always use the magic loop method, but it’s not my favorite and I’d rather not use it unless I absolutely must.

    Aside from that, the needles have a nice weight to them, they attach smoothly to the cord and don’t come unscrewed. Everything comes in a cute and efficient little case. All in all, I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

I liked the quality and feel of the needles so I bought the black ones. Love them!! The black ones are more pointy than the colored set. Would highly recommend. Been knitting for many years and love the swivel cord. We will see how they hold up but so far so good
