This table is nice and I have enjoyed each time I have played on it. It fits in most standard size rooms and accommodates up to 10 people. I would not advise to use on carpet because the legs are not heavy duty sturdy (unless you do not have many people playing on the table), but they are great for flat hardwood floors.
I set my table on carpet in the basement to test it and it was fine for a few people who are leaning on the table but I wouldn't risk more than 5 at a time.
