When I ordered this cat shelter I was a bit nervous since there weren’t any reviews. I’m happy I ordered it though. It’s such a great size and super easy to assemble. There was only one thing I found odd.. As I was assembling the shelter I noticed the plastic poles seem to have some kind of particle on them that made my hands feel like they had that itchy fiberglass stuff on them. It felt like I had little cuts on my hands. Nothing extreme but definitely uncomfortable. I washed my hands after and they were fine. So maybe wear some gloves while putting the legs together. The heating pad heats up fast and feels nice and toasty. The heating pad doesn’t have a timer but we have ours plugged to a timer we already had so it works out fine for us. I feel these cat shelters are a bit pricey but it gives me peace of mind that my feral has a place to keep warm this winter.

So this product gets 2 stars because the product itself is made of high quality materials, but the box was missing integral pieces of the structure and other pieces of the structure were broken.
I needed this yesterday, and i wanted to like it.

The product itself is great and the materials are high quality but missing a 3 point structure piece which is used at the bottom of the box to hold it above the ground (shown in picture, only 3 of those structure pieces were in the box, you need/suppose to get 4)
There is a metal wire structure piece that comes already assembled with tack welds holding everything in place, and one of the tack welded metal tabs was completely broken off and another metal tab on the other side was also starting to break off (as shown in pictures)
All of this together makes the unit unusable for me. I needed an outdoor cat house that can keep my outside stray I adopted warm and dry and off the ground this winter, and now im going to have to get something else and have it expedited just so i can have it in time for winter, which is already here..
Quality Control needs an upgraded in this company because this is ridiculous. I basically have everything i need but because those two missing/broken pieces that are specific to this unit, so i cant go to home depot and find something to fit in its place, i will have to either throw it all away or give it to someone who wants it for something other than outside, the unit sitting on the damp/freezing ground doesn't help at all.
