- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2024I'm a 260lb hunter. I also survived a fall from a Tree Stand 3 years ago. So I'm a little scared of them now. But, I also hunt in Central Texas Mesquite fields. Last year I hunted from a ground blind, that was nice, but I prefer to shoot down at my game. So I bought this to try it out.
I put it together in my garage in about an hour. I watched a bunch of videos, and they all said 3 hours - but it took me an hour. I've worked in plenty of factories and have bunches of tools - so it might just be that I have more assembly practice. Didn't use the instructions either and didn't have any extra parts.
I took it out to the cul-de-sac where I live and put it up (kind of heavy) and it wobbled so bad, that I didn't show my wife. I was afraid that she would not let me use it. However, when I took it to my hunting club - it worked great. I used straight medal tent stakes on each leg and a ratchet strap down the center to the ground (in my Alabama Hunting Club we get bad winds so i wanted it secured) and it held like a champ. Very stable (surprisingly so after setting it up in the driveway). I liked it so much, I decided to leave it in camp - and buy another one for my Texas Hunting Trip next fall! I hunt Public Land there - and will fabricate a special cart to drag it into the woods.
One thing to note - the rifle rest padding is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I bought some plumbing insulation and some camp duct tape on Amazon and covered both the arm rests and the rifle rest. I would recommend that, and might as well do the back rest too (that is not very stout either). But overall, this is a great buy.
Update... I bought the second one. Also bought the blind fot it. It is heavy now and not portable.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2016I received my tripod within 4 business days of ordering online which was nice. The back cushion is not the one shown in the picture, but is actually nicer. I would have given this a 5 star rating, but there is no way to put the seat on due to the pre-welding of the bars where you are suppose to slide the seat on, so I am forced to go buy an outdoor hunting seat and make my own seat out of wood or metal. The whole tri-pod was easy to assemble and is light enough to move from one hunting location to another without requiring a team even though the safety videos say to use a 3 person team. -Jackson, MI
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2021Searched a lot of sites, this one seemed to fit my needs. Arrived early, checked parts list and had 2 extra units. Assembly was easy, everything fit wto carry farell together. Only weighs about 70 lbs., so not difficult to set up in the field, although too heavy and awkward to carry far. Seat is reasonably comfortable, back rest cushion it too light. Had to add foam to arm rest covers and to gun rest bar, since the covers provided lack cushioning. Haven't shot from the stand, but the instructions say to stake down the feet of the tripod, wish they had been included. Overall, for the price and for my limited use, looks like it will work well.
