    Good for the money. If you're like me, then you are looking for the most chips for the cheapest price. I went with this set because I didn't want to spend $50 for the same quantity when I just play casually and rarely for money. The case is solid and even includes simple keys that would keep children out. There is no large spade symbol on the inside of the case, but it does have cushioning foam. I like this set because for simple poker games, 3 colors is just right.The chips have noticeable marks even after playing with them for just 4 hours. This was fairly gentle use and no abuse given. One red chip's coating cracked and peeled, while another had a scuffing on one side. See attached picture. The cards included were of fair quality.I would still buy this set again because it does the job. I will look into higher quality chips when I actually want to invest in the hobby.

      Very good quality, considering the price. Chips are not real shiny or crisp but the color is still fine for the now and then game with family or friends. The case is strong and decent and stays closed when carrying. This set has one of the highest ratings on Amazon and, for once at least, those reviews are true. I've seen better sets for two to three times more money. Well, leave those to the pros or players that they need to impress. I don't spend money for compliments, I spend it for function and value. That's what is here on this set.

      I've purchased two of these; one for my parents and one for myself.

      The case is nice. The cards are not impressive, but then I would not consider them the point at all; if you are expecting two good decks, you are likely to be disappointed. The dealer/blind chips are plastic and round; for what they are they serve the purpose perfectly well without attempting to be anything more than adequate.

      I purchased this, as I suspect most people do, for the chips. My expectations may be a bit high, but the color application strikes me as sloppy: Rarely does it become really obnoxious, but the non-primary colors on the chips just are not applied in a very consistent or careful manner. This isn't likely to take away from their utility, but if you really look at them, it does detract from the perception of quality.

      That aside, the chips feel nice and heavy, and I'm pleased with the set overall. I definitely recommend it for basement/garage/kitchen games, particularly for those that are likely to involve adult beverages. As long as you don't expect something that would show up at a high-stakes table in Vegas, I think you are likely to be satisfied with this. I will continue to recommend it in that context.

The case even has a lock with 2 keys; I don't know why we would need to lock it, maybe if you have kids... After using one deck of cards for quite a few games, one of the cards peeled. The quality of the cards may not be so good but I don't feel that's an issue for down rating this poker set because the chips and the case are really nice and of quality.
