Carlock is the most amazing device GPS locating you can locate just about anything as long as you have a OBD connection in your vehicle or toy or machinery. The design is incomparable. They have different plans for as much protection as you want but I go for the $9.99 cent standard subscription per month and believe me it is so worth it to know where your vehicle is 24/7 365 days out of the year. It's super easy to use and they have great features too. Such as notifications if you're driving too hard or driving crazy it will notify you to slow down don't break so hard. Most of all don't drive crazy you can set the miles per hour to what you're comfortable with mine set to 80 Maximum speed. That's on the freeway of course. The Carlock actually helps you not get tickets. And drive safer whoever's driving the vehicle you can monitor your kids driving your car or truck. Or if you have the mobile Carlock you can have it on a piece of your machinery and find out where it is at all times a case to get stolen such as a cement mixer I personally will always have this app no need for a LoJack You can monitor several vehicles at 1 time inside the app. I recommend this app to all of my friends and family you can't beat it and for the low low price Carlock is unbearable by any other GPS car, vehicle Or machinery Location finder I love car lock and wouldn't trade it for anythingTake my word for it it will be so worth your time and money to invest in such a small device an application for $10 fee per month subscription I love you Carlock you're the greatest!

I will start by saying that if it wasn't for my wife, I wouldn't have even found out about this device. She had ordered one and once it arrived, had it installed and has been pleased with it. I will admit I was skeptical at first because nothing in this word seems "full-proof". So, I eventually bit the bullet and ordered mined from Amazon, of course. Once it arrived as scheduled, I got it back to the house and setup my account, which was a little confusing at first. Thank God my wife explained it for me because it's a generic setup but its done differently, or at least mine was, which through me off. Once I finished that, I went to the garage and plugged it in my OBD port and drove some, as recommended. I have a clip dashboard mount for my cell phone so as I was driving I was monitoring it and I am being honest when I say that the device was functioning in "real time", not the so-called instant time that other devices claim to do. I was amazed that it was showing me my path, time stamp, distance, speed, trip in progress as I was actually making turns. With that, if you make an abrupt brake slam and/or left/right turn (in general), it will also record that too. It also has the great feature on when you get into your vehicle, like barely cracking the door, the notification was sent to my phone. When you start your vehicle, its recorded and you are notified. When you start rolling forward or backwards, the trip log with the map shot starts GPS-ing you. The only con that I see with this device is that it doesn't display your general information about your oil levels, coolant, trip TPMS display, engine hours, etc, (which would be outstanding prior to going on long road trips. Other than that, I was on the fence about it before but I'm a believer now and trust when I say I am super hesitant about putting electronics in my car, just across the board. However, after seeing its functionality, I feel more confident and secure when I'm out and about. The only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I haven't had to deal with tech support at all......yet (respectfully, hopefully never). However, if there are no problems that arise, I will go back and change it to a 5. Feel free to look at the pictures that I attached on this review.
