Just purchased and fell in love with it immediately! Excellent craftsmanship, perfect size and the sound is better than any other call I’ve ever used. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I often spend a few hundred dollars per year not to mention many hours of scouting and prepping for the upcoming season so this was a must have. I’m retiring my Extinguisher Grunt call in place of this hardwood call and will hopefully be posting a few pictures soon of my harvest. Muskingum County Ohio 2021.

    My first grunt call. I had no idea what I was doing. I watched the short video the company provides and made a few grunts and a buck came right in. Realistically, it's peak rut and I was lucky he was in the area, but after using the grunt call, he did walk from 100yards out to directly in front of my stand, which is no coincidence.
    This was easy to use and adjust. I'm sure it will take a while to learn the various calls but this is a great product right out of the box and definitely works.

    You need no experience to sound like the real thing. This was the most expensive call I have ever paid for, but WOW! Absolutely worth every penny. Where has this baby been all my life. The reeds are of high quality and not the same at all as any of the cheaper calls. One grunt and you will know. This has hands down the lowest tones and most realistic sound I have ever heard from any other grunt calls. Also it's NOT temperature sensitive like all plastic reeds are. I would pay even $50 Dallas for this call again should something happen to this one. I'll some it all up this way. I have been hurting Whitetail for more than 40 years and bought more than 15 different KINDS of grunt calls over that time. If each one cast me only 10 to 25 dollars each added up. I still spend less if this one was one of my only calls at $50 dollars period. I carry this and a fawn call and thats all fokes. I want stock in this company now. Thank you Nationwide Scents for being "the different that makes a real difference." I love it! And my catch fraz is free to you lol.

    I like the range of sounds, the call being wood. Also, the read holder (metallic part) has fallen out on more than one occasion and luckily, I found it in my pocket and reinstalled. I think a little gorilla glue will do the trick, but we shall see.

    A very minor issue for which I can easily modify myself is that the lanyard is not as long as I would like. I prefer for the lanyard to go around my neck and have the call in a chest pocket (inside or outside depending on how cold). Right now, I tie the lanyard to my jacket which is OK, but harder to get my hands on in that critical moment.

    I have been using many different buck calls for years in many different situations. From blind calling to redirecting I’ve tried it all and have had little success. Whether that is operator error or otherwise that has not been the case here. I went out a couple weeks ago and used this thing with little practice and was able to bring home a trophy after redirecting him from chasing a doe.
