    I love pecan pies but the store bought crust is not sturdy enough to prevent seepage. I used to make my own crusts but got lazy. We had an accident ( involving a frozen pizza and a hot oven) with my old plastic board. I demanded that my husband buy me another one so I ordered this one. It is much sturdier and much better than a floured board. I think my old one was easier to use but this is a good replacement.

    I love this for rolling out pie crust! It has non-slip feet on the bottom so it doesn't move as I roll out my crust. It is super easy to hand wash and drip dry. Just flour it up really well before rolling anything out and then shake it clean when finished. The first time I made the mistake of not adding flour between crusts so it got kind of greasy, but a quick wash with soap in the sink fixed that problem. Next time I will be sure to use plenty of flour so I can just shake it clean for storage. I really appreciate the circle measurings to help me make a round pie crust.
