Beautiful but cheaply constructed
I love the color and size of this table but it is cheaply made. Bought it to play Mahjong with friends but if someone was injured by it that wouldn’t be acceptable. So I may have to spend more money and purchase something made in America. If we even still make quality products here.

You don’t have to open each leg individually; two legs are connected on each side. I have the same table which I bought many years ago and it is still in great condition.     I use this for jigsaw puzzles and crafting. It's a good size for both. I like the padded vinyl top which provides a smooth surface. The legs are a little difficult to collapse. You have to be careful you don't pinch yourself when pushing in the locking tabs. That might get easier with use. Have to wait and see.

    I have to mention the first one delivered was damaged. The frame was bent and one side of the top was smashed. The packaging doesn't protect the table at all. It's just a box and a plastic bag. When I went to return it, I was told it wasn't eligible for return. After speaking with an amazon rep I was sent a new table. The second one arrived undamaged.

    For the money this is a decent card table. I was surprised at how solid, sturdy and level the table is when set up. That sturdiness comes at a price, though, and you pay that price when you go to collapse the table to put it away. The legs are what makes the table so sturdy, and they're not easy to collapse. They're in pairs, so you need to simultaneously squeeze two short, very stiff metal arms, one with each hand, so those two legs can fold. It ain't easy. If you have two people it would be a snap, but for one person it's a bit of a challenge. I'm a 72 year-old male and I can do it, but if I were much weaker in my hands I'd have a problem. I'm hoping the job will get easier with time and repetition, but that remains to be seen.

    The table itself is made from fiberboard and covered with vinyl. The vinyl doesn't lay tight to the table; as you move your hand around on it you can tell there is air between the vinyl and the fiberboard. For playing cards or games, though, it's okay. It's not a high-quality table, but at this price I can't really complain.

    If you have two people to fold the legs or plan to leave the table up, this is a good buy at this price point. If you're by yourself, plan on giving your hands a workout when you collapse the legs for storage. Because of the stress required to fold and unfold the legs, I am not sure how long this table will last before something breaks. We'll see.

    I haven’t used this table yet, but I love how it’s constructed with two folding legs on each side that fold in together on a frame instead of individually; making it more sturdy. It arrived in perfect condition with no tears on the vinyl edge like some reviewers mentioned. But I probably was lucky because I feel it should be better protected for shipping with a layer of styrofoam around it. It came in a cardboard box with no inner protection except a sheet of plastic. This table is too nice to be shipped that way & could be easily damaged in transit. I am very pleased with the table itself. I went by the reviews in choosing it & it was a wise decision. Perfect size for doing large puzzles on with enough space around it to keep a 1000 piece puzzle from falling off the edges. Probably good for a 1500 piece puzzle as well. So convenient to be able to just fold it up after & store compactly . Very pleased with the quality of this table. Highly recommend.

    I gave my husband a wooden pinball machine kit for Christmas and instead of using the kitchen table I purchased this card table and set it up in a spare room. The table is working out really well. It is really sturdy which was a surprise. No wiggling around. The legs collapse easily. The vinyl top is perfect for hobbies. Things don't slide around.     Bought this to use an art table, so I also covered it with a thick clear plastic for ease of cleanup and to avoid staining. This table is sturdy, but very easy to move by sliding across a wood or lino floor. Nice size and comes with a padded plastic tabletop surface. Very easy to fold and store and a good size for various uses as well as dining. I would not use this outdoors where it would be exposed to the elements, but could certainly be used for a dining table on the patio for a party etc.
