I only use it for slicing bread. It’s not very heavy or sturdy, but it’s sharp and gets the job done. Cutting is simple and takes a minute for an entire loaf. I’m not sure how it would handle a hard cheese or tougher meat, but for my needs it’s ok.
It does move a bit around the countertop as you’re using it, so I need to keep it steady with one hand.
I think for the money it was worth it - I got a “used like new” model and it really was like new with no signs of use and all stickers intact, but at almost 50% off. I’m not sure if I’d like it as much if I had paid full price.
