Wife is having a blast .. but be aware that much plastic triming may be needed.

Wife is having a blast .. but be aware that much plastic triming may be needed.
My wife LOVES it for her You Tube exercise routines! ... once I got it assembled, which overall is easy. And the cost point is fine for 'a little bit' of work to make the riser parts fit together properly. Maybe we were the "lucky ones"; but the casting/molding & finishing of the 4 plastic riser step pieces left a lot to be desired. Meaning there were just a LOT of ridges and excess molding overflow that needed to be trimmed for the step pieces to fit together completely. I also had to trim and remove a lot of excess material on the each of the 4 supporting foot pegs to ensure the rubber feet would insert into them. I'm used to trimming various materials with my always very sharp knife, but the locations of these waste overflows were such that many folks would either be frustrated from the start and return the step or cut themselves if they are not experienced with a very sharp and fine cutting tool. A small & sharp wood chisel would also work -- didn't have one in my pocket! We spent about 45-60 mins just getting this cleaned up and assembled. Wish I'd taken 'in process' pictures, but have indicated the points at issue on the included Item pictures copied from Amazon. One shows the spots underneath with yellow that required a lot of attention on each riser and the fixed 1 step.An additional assembly disappointment, that may be a struggle later if we want to use the 2nd additional riser: The outside curved area of the light gray 1st additional riser (red marked area in assembled picture) is molded just slightly more straight or flat, with less curvature, than the inset top portion of the darker gray 2nd additional riser (picture with green showing the top side of riser) that is supposed to fit into the bottom of the light gray 1st riser. Once all the excess molded plastic had been trimmed, the less curved areas on both light gray risers would not allow the dark gray 2nd riser to be seated. The only way we could put steps 1 and 2 together was with a rubber mallet! Have not yet tried to pull them apart, so I may try heating with a hair dryer to see if the plastic will conform together now that it is under some pressure! But hey, we're 70+ seniors, so just using the first additional riser is great! The step is very sturdy and functional once assembled and a bargain for the price! Just be aware of the possible additional plastic trimming skill that may be required!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice stepper for knee replacement work out
Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2022
Received this stepper earlier than expected. Did receive some exercises to do on the stepper but there was no instructions to explain what ends go where. Under the stepper is a light gray and a dark gray additional steps. If you want the stepper to be higher you must put on the dark gray step before you put on the light gray step. It will not work if you place the light gray step on first. Also, you cannot put on just one step and think you will store a step underneath as the step you are using will not attach to original step - there is not enough room to store a step you are not going to use. I have been using this stepper with all steps included to help in the exercise of my knee and this gives me the bend I need. I have used it regularly now for over a week and it is working out for me. I weigh approximately 155 lbs and 5'4" and have had no problem with it. With all step added it is 8" high. I have moved this stepper without any problems. The additional steps do not come off as some have noted. I have not jumped on it but have stepped up and down as my exercises have me do to strength the knee. So far this is an excellent stepper for what I need it for.
