Got this when it was on sale and I am glad I did. Of course there are many feeders that are better but for the price, this has been great for me. Never had a feeder like this before and it’s been running well for months. The set up was probably harder for me than it needed to be but that’s on me. The programming of the timer is very, very easy... make 5 minutes to have it programmed and running. Not sure I would put 225lbs in the feeder, probably would stay at 200lbs or below.
The legs are very sturdy but that was easily fixed with some screws in each leg section. Plus tying it down made a big difference.
Overall, it’s not the greatest but for the price it’s been exactly what I needed and wanted. I can see myself buying a couple more.

Ok, 2 hours work. Some holes needed to be widened to accept fasteners, no drill bit provided but was told it was in package - had to go find the right size. Two separate instructions look the same initially but are not. Poor visual of clip fastener for lid . Had to experiment. Need your own drill, hammer, pliers. Battery not included… good thing I bought a two pk. Separately with the charger ! Score: 6 out of 10

Leg blew out after 6 months. It’s easy to get to so I’ve never had it more than half full. I do like the motor but you’ll need to buy a cage to keep the deer and raccoons from turning it into a gravity feeder. Keep looking.
