While individually they may only get a "gold rating"...using the U lock on the rear triangle and wheel; with the chain looping through the front wheel and front triangle...its a great solution for me.
I'm riding an older, but high end frameset, and this has kept most snatch and grab or target of opportunity thefts away.
In fact, one time Iocked up, only to see upon returning that some lowlife had taken the bike that was locked up in the rack down from mine.
