Tho iv only had it a short while only used it a few times this last time I used it i did my normal tea filled it to the top but it started to leak water everywhere,so to find issue i poured some out till water stopped leaking,learned that you have to keep water below silver lining or there's problem. Don't know why wasn't doing this when I first got it. So issue it leaks from the bottom and alot so be carful, think it has something to do with the slot holes tho not sure. That's were it looked like it was coming from.Will update if other issues.So far tho it's a good pot would like it if it had an infuser or place for one. I like to use Loose teas,bag teas are ok but not fresh.heats up well & quick.easy use.last long while.

    This kettle works very well and is reasonable priced. I opted for the 1.0 liter size which is perfect for me, as I usually don't require more than 2 cups of boiling water at a time. It boiled 2 cups in just about 3 min. but at full capacity it would hold just over 4 cups. It's much faster than using a pot on a stovetop and definitely more convenient (and faster) than boiling water in the microwave oven. For anything larger than 4 cups (ex., 6 cups needed to cook pasta), it's easy to empty and quickly boil another 2 cups to add to the pot. The top opens wide enough to fill in my refrigerator door dispenser and the handle doesn't heat up so it's very easy to dispense. I opted for the glass pitcher as I like to see the the water inside. There are times for certain teas when I might want to stop it early so glass is much more convenient for me vs. stainless steel. The pitcher automatically turns off when done boiling and also there is a very visible blue light that stays on only while heating. Another safety feature is the auto-off when empty. Within seconds of turning the pitcher on with no water inside, it automatically shut off. For those not familiar with electric kettles, even immediately after heating water to boiling temperature, the base isn't hot (or even warm). So there's no danger when using the pitcher of you, or a child, accidentally getting burned by touching the base. So far this has been a great purchase for a great price!

    This was purchased as I was sick at the end of last year. I wanted hot liquid to drink that was not caffeinated and began drinking fruit tea. I purchased this electric kettle for that purpose. It has been used multiple times a day for a month now and has been fantastic.

    The steel construction is very solid. You push the button and in a few minutes the water boils and you pour it in the cup. It does have a safety feature where when the water boils it will shut off within a minute or so. This is handy as sometimes I am made to join impromptu meetings and I cannot get up to shut it off. This was problematic using a pot on the stove. The kettle also retains heat pretty well so if you don't get right to pouring it the water is likely to still be hot enough to use.

    The capacity is enough for me. It equates to about four cups of tea. I've been averaging three or four a day which makes it perfect.

    Overall this is a high recommendation. Other commenters have stated they are drinking more tea now for owning it. I join the ranks of these folks. The ease of use and functionality are exactly what I was looking for.

    This product is splendid. Pour water in it. Flick a lever. Bingo. As fast as possible you have a decanter or hot water. It works by induction so it's very light. It's made of stainless so it very robust. It has no heating element anywhere. Lift it off its small base, that looks integrated but is more like a coaster with a wire leading to it,... and it's like any other pitcher. It has a lighted lever switch. Goes on when you flip it. Goes off when it's done. I used to forget leaving water on stove to boil. Those days are happily over.

    This is the best kettle I have owned as a college student. It is budget friendly, and the transparent outing makes it easy to clean off calcium scales that form on the inside. The water boils super quick and there is no wobbling.

    I had bought a 1.7 litre glass kettle on sale locally and it was awful, so I ordered this. This is a one litre pot, enough for a largish pot of tea, nice long cord so it can be moved away from the cupboards (the other had just 6"), and it heats up very quickly and quietly, plus the auto turnoff works (the other didn't). Also pours well (the other didn't unless the lid was raised.
    Very pleased with this.

    A comparación de otras teteras eléctricas que he comprado, esta se siente bastante robusta y su funcionamiento se siente también muy seguro. Para que no haya ambigüedad, estoy hablando de la jarra eléctrica de vidrio Amazon Basics de 1.7 litros. Calienta el agua con bastante rapidez y se apaga sola en cuanto el agua comienza a hervir. El vidrio es grueso. El mango se mantiene frío, de manera que se puede manejar muy bien. Por el momento, estoy muy satisfecho con el producto. Veremos si es duradero, por que el tema que ha sido reincidente con todas las teteras eléctricas de diversas marcas que he comprado es que se descomponen entre tres y seis meses. Esta parece estar construida con una mayor calidad, entonces tengo la expectativa que dura cuando menos un año y medio, lo que consideraría un trato justo respecto al precio. Yo no considero que le doy un uso fuerte. Generalmente la uso una vez al día por las mañanas para calentar 1.25 litros y ocasionalmente al medio día. Esto no representa un uso intenso. Entonces, veremos cuánto dura y regresaré a actualizar esta nota que escribo el 28 de agosto de 2024. Mientras tanto, sí recomiendo comprarla ya que es un producto de calidad superior en su rango de precio. Espero resulte útil.

    It still works solid after +1 year and became essential item in my kitchen. Good value for the money, and it boils real qucik. Initially, I did not expect this would last long more than a year, but it turned out a good product. Not fancy, but just works perfect as water boiler. Recommended.
