I have been using this shower radio for about a year, and I love it.
I thought I would be changing the batteries every month or to, but so far I have not even replaced the batteries yet.
The reception is VERY GOOD on this radio, and the sound is wonderful.
When I'm done showering, I carry this radio all around the house with me while I'm getting ready.
This way I can easily listen to my morning news programs with the volume turned down relatively low, and I don't disturb other people early in the morning. Before, I used to turn on our main radio in the middle of the house, but that meant I had to have it on pretty loud, if I wanted to hear it while I was rushing between the closet, the bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room, getting ready. Now I just keep the volume down low and carry this with me using the handle.
I also love that the handle opens and swings around like a hook. This make it easy to hang the radio on a towel bar or similar thing in the bathroom. So ... when I'm ready to head out the door, I just hang the radio on the towel bar in the bathroom, and away I go.
Wonderful radio. I was thinking of coming back and buying one as a gift, but was dismayed by the price. Did I really pay that much for this little shower radio? I guess I did!!! BUT ... knowing now, how good it is, I can see that it is worth the price. I've tried other shower radios in the past, which were only 20 or 30 dollars, and they had a very weak, tinny sound. Besides, you could only listen to the very few stations that would tune in with relatively little static. Shower radios typically are TERRIBLE! But not this one. This one picks up all the stations in our area, crystal clear. The sound is great, even when you turn it up loud to be heard over the sound of the shower. This is an excellent radio. If you can afford it, buy it!

Fun for the whole family
I got this radio after trying out and returning a Moxie Bluetooth showerhead because: 1. Most often I'm listening to morning news/traffic in the shower, not just music from my phone; 2. You can control the volume and change stations on this; you can't on Moxie without reaching out of the shower and getting your phone wet, and you'll want to change the volume when you turn the water on/off; 3. This radio will also come in handy for weather alerts/news in the event of a power outage, or for listening to the game while grilling on the patio (even if it rains); 4. It costs half as much as a Moxie, while providing the same Bluetooth feature PLUS radio (and silly light/siren); 5. I trust Sangean after enjoying two other outstanding radios of theirs. The sound on this is really good; it might even be a bit better than my RCR-22 clock radio. The reception is outstanding! Although it is possible to hold it in a certain position that introduces static on some stations in some rooms/in the shower, that static is easily eliminated by deploying the dangling wire antenna (although I don't need it to get our somewhat spotty NPR station even in the shower). Unsurprisingly (it's a Sangean), this radio even picks up all my stations just fine in the basement, where my Onkyo receiver is spewing out garbled, staticky noise even with a 6-foot dipole hung on the wall. And you know what else? Waterproof = drool proof! So I love letting my 1-yo son bop along to the music without worrying he's going to wreck the radio. So far it seems pretty bang-proof, too, because he does like banging on things. And it sure makes bath time more fun! Just use the included strap to hang the H-202 from your rubber whale-protected faucet and let the kids rock out with the soap out (see photo)! Father & son agree: we love this radio! Cons? It's kinda big and klunky -- maybe it's so large so that overall it's less dense than water, hence it floats -- but it still fits behind my sink (barely) for shaving. I wish you could play/pause/skip tracks via Bluetooth control from the radio while in the shower (my WR-22 can do that from its buttons); you'd think that feature would be included at this price point even though it's cheaper than the WR-22, but I guess we're paying for waterproofness. I don't really miss the not-included AC adapter; Sangean includes an order form in the box for one (and it's cheap), but I think I'll get more than enough life out of the batteries.

Things I didn't expect about this radio was the wall mount (I didn't even realize I was going to get that) - that was very easy to install (virtually anywhere in the bathroom) which freed up space on the vanity where the previous Sangean 505 radio sat for 20 years and was always in the way. Other great things I didn't expect was ease of use (setting favorite stations), very good AM performance and FM performance with the very thin coated wire antenna. We plan to completely remodel our bathroom within the next 3 months or so. This radio is a keeper and likely will end right back up in the same position it now occupies with a different wall (tile or otherwise) behind it. As it stands now, I have nothing but good to say about this radio. It's used minimum 1-2 hours a day and it's been up a month and the battery meter is still showing full charge. Blue Tooth to my iPhone 13 is very consistent and volume level is very good while taking a shower with the bathroom fan running and I can still hear anything playing. If you're on the fence about this radio all I can say, is I am not at all sorry I purchased this radio - I'm very happy with it.
