Directions

1. Plug in the Alure 3 Barrel Hair Waver and let it heat up to your desired temperature. 2. Section your hair and choose a starting point. 3. Place the hair between the barrels, close to the root, and clamp down the waver for a few seconds. 4. Slowly glide the waver down the length of your hair, maintaining even pressure. 5. Release the clamp and allow the curled section of hair to cool before styling further. 6. Repeat the process for the remaining sections of your hair. 7. Brush through your hair gently to soften the waves and add volume. 8. Style as desired, and enjoy your frizz-free, beachy waves.

    What really struck me about this waver is the solid, heavy duty construction of it. It has a thick cord that doesn't tangle easily, and the spring/clamp seems really solid and not flimsy at all. It has a nice blue LCD display with variable temp settings. I need to watch some tutorials on how to style with these type of wavers, but so far it works well and my hard to curl hair is holding the crimp. It heats up very quickly too. The on/off switch is located in a way it's easy to accidentally tap it while styling my hair. I have to stay vigilant during styling my hair to make sure it's not inadvertently tapped. All these barrel crimpers tend to use models that clearly have classic curling iron curls, not waves. For this product, the brunette model on the bottom right of the honeycomb image will most closely match the results (with consideration for hair thickness and texture)

    I wouldn't buy this 3 barrel curling iron nor recommend to anyone. I have used it 3 times and the first time I used it I turned it off but forgot to unplug it and a few hours later I went into my bathroom and noticed it was still extremely hot I checked and the display screen said off but it was still heating I used it a second time no issues and just used it a 3rd time and it won't stay hot the temp is all the way up and it will heat up but when I got to use it on my hair it stops heating even though it's on and the temp is set as hot as it will go.
