Step 1: Wash your hands before start. Fill the nasal irrigation up to the fill line with lukewarm distilled water or previously boiled water; Step 2: Add a packet of nasal wash salt pour into the water. Tighten the cap & tube on the travel neti pot. Shake the nose cleaner gently to dissolve the mixture; Step 3: Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keep your mouth open and do not hold breath. place cap snugly against your right nostril and press the button on the bottom until the solution starts draining from the other nostril or mouth; Step 4: Repeat steps 3 for your left nostril

    My doctor instructed me to use a neti pot 2x per day earlier this year, and I've been using the standard blue teapot shaped neti pot. That got the job done, but took forever, always ran down my face, and the spout was VERY uncomfortable.
    THIS THING, though, is GREAT.
    First of all, the tip fits perfectly in my nostril. It's actually designed to fit snugly just inside my nostril, making for a good seal to avoid any dripping or leaking. No more desperately trying to find the best spot to avoid a ton of water leaking out. This didn't leak, made zero mess, was comfortable to use, and I didn't have to worry about tipping my head at the perfect angle just to get the water to flow correctly. Zero water ran down my face, and it made absolutely no mess whatsoever.
    Second, I was done rinsing both nostrils in a minute flat at most. This thing is so fast! Makes my routine much quicker, especially now that I don't have to wipe off the counter and dry my face afterward.
    Third, due to how much quicker the water flows, it felt MUCH more effective, and my nostrils were INSTANTLY clear.
    Finally, the design of the bottle is so clever! I love the button at the top, I can switch between nostrils quickly and easily with no mess! It's so much easier to clean, and will be MUCH more convenient while traveling!

    I truly cannot recommend this product enough. It has made the most inconvenient part of my morning and nighttime routine absolutely effortless.

    I have always used the navage system but since I had the older version and I could not find the salt pods for that I wanted (and needed) to try something else. This was very nice since I could determine how much pressure and how fast to squeeze the water to flush through. Very easy to use and effective.     I really like the overall design and can see how this design could work much better than a traditional neti pot. Unfortunately the bottle leaks significantly where the top screws in place and a lot of solution is lost down the drain making this only partially effective. I'm not sure if I got a dud or if it may be a common issue/design flaw. So disappointed because I really wanted this to work.
