I purchased this hoop as an Amazon-endorsed used product. I installed it directly on the wall, and the kids have had a fantastic amount of fun with it. The spring-loaded hoop is very strong and supports aggressive dunking.
The only issue I had was that the net knots loosed during use. I reached out to Franklin, and they promptly provided a replacement net.
Overall, I am very happy with this hoop. Even over the door, I expect it would maintain its position and integrity. The backboard is especially impressive with its significant foam backing. I highly recommend.
