I LOVE these sofa covers, especially the non-slip grippers on the back (shaped in paws). I have an older winged back sofa that I just purchased second hand. I was afraid that it wouldn’t fit because the back doesn’t raise as high as normal sofas (the solution was to just tuck in the elastic in the crevices of the corners). I think these are best suited for removable cushions but thats just personal opinion (because you can lift and hide excess of cover under the cushion for a better resistance against slipping). I use this to protect my furniture against 2 big young dogs & 2 house cats. They love to rub against the couch and are constantly jumping on and off. It has been easy to wash & dry, shake off out side for all the hair caught.

The pocket convenience on the sides are a bonus to put the remotes and your phones. Has been easy to wash & dry in the washing machine & standard dryer.

I’ve had the microfiber covers before but the little wedges of foam to keep it in place was no match for my needs & they collect a lot of hair. I highly recommend these non slip covers. I also enjoy the color that matches my sofa design! Will be repurchasing again when these get tired.

I haven’t had a liquid spill yet, so not sure on how that would hold up.

Approximate Measurements of my furniture:
sofa: 76” in length, 27” in height, 23” in depth, 35” in width. (Bought in size 68”)

Chair: 27” in length, 38” in height, 22” in depth, 28” wide (bought in size 30”)

Looks nice, but doesn’t hold up in the wash

I bought this because one of our cats is having some medical issues and is peeing on our couches (only our couches 😩). I use this in combination with multiple puppy pee pads and I’ve been able to protect my couch better. It looks and feels nice and fits very well. It does take readjusting each time someone sits on the couch, but I kind of expect that with any cover. However, It is not truly waterproof. If the pee sits on the couch for several hours (while I’m at work or sleeping) it will soak through (hence the use of the pee pads). The biggest problem I had with this is when it came to washing it. Because of the water resistance it is hard to wash. I have to use a deep cycle with an extra rinse and often have to wash it twice. I use low spin, but even so it has started falling apart. I’m not really sure if there is a product out there that will work for my needs. On one of my other couches I use a large waterproof blanket that I fold over. That definitely protects the couch, but doesn’t look as nice. I will have to keep searching.

I hate that I have to cover my nice furniture but these have proved their worth!!
This has saved my soft leather couch from the perils of pet urine (older pet), pet vomit, pet and human slobber, chocolate smudge, juice spill, water spill and crumbs galore (pets and teenagers!!) And no, food is not allowed - sigh.
We had used a variety of blankets but they weren’t waterproof. Then I decided for a more unified look.
I have a sectional so I bought 2 large couch/sofa sizes and arranged it in a suitable configuration.
The neutral color goes well in any season and it’s not hard to put on once you get used to your configuration.
One minor issue, the slip free back part starts to lose its efficacy over many washings and my slouchy husband seems to like to drag the cover down with his slouching. If not for the elastic top holders, he and probably the cover would end on the floor!! So all in all they are worth a purchase.
Note: No strong odor when opened.
2024: Still going strong. They are looking their age now after some washing/wearing but are still waterproof and soft. I will buy more in the near future!! Worth every penny.
