The History of Lacrosse

Lacrosse was a tribal stick ball game played by Woodland and Plains Indian tribes. European immigrants greatly modified the game to what it is now. It is one of the oldest team sports in North America. Some of the first lacrosse balls were made out of wood, others were made from deerskin stuffed with hair. The sticks were giant wooden spoons with no netting Lacrosse became an olympic sport in 1904 but was then dropped as an official sport. After 1908, lacrosse was a sport in the World Games.

    What a great price for a very decent product. Assembly is super easy, and the quality of the netting and frame appear to be good. It is standing up to very rough usage. No need to buy the fancy rebounders with the "target" on the netting. I just used colored tape to create a square target in the middle of the net.

It would have been very easy to put together and I would have given 5 stars, except 2 of the poles were bent where they needed to connect to another pole. I had to use some other tools to bend the pipes back and fit the poles together. Other than that, I am very happy with this so far.

    Very satisfied with the product. Came in as advertised. All the parts were included and it was very easy to assemble. The mesh give good spring back returns.

    The only issue is that the spike do not hold the unit properly in place.We added larger spikes and put a sand bag on it for stability.
