Most people I assume will find this to be a great fan. It is in the middle zone I would think, so something for everyone. Not too loud, not too quiet. Not too strong, not too gentle. Decent price and look. It does what it is supposed to do. Most might even love the sleep mode.I am disappointed in the sleep mode. Sleep mode is a great idea, but poor execution. They decide, not you what setting you should sleep on. I want it all. I want high speed and low light, but you can’t have both. However, I am a rare person who wants a loud fan. Those are hard to find unless they’re those giant box fans. I like to have the cool air circulate AND block noise. I choose this model bc one review said it blocks the noise of traffic and I was hopeful this might be closest to what I’ve been looking for…it probably is…but could be better.All the fans today brag about being quiet. I want one to brag about blocking noise!I would like fans to be categorized something like this:A) gentle, quiet breeze - office or sleepingB) gentle breeze/white noise - office or sleepingC) average noise, stronger breeze - some noise blocking but still hear some tv, not for phone call environmentsD) strong wind - block out most sounds while sleepingE) some misc I haven’t consideredSo I want as much outside noise reduction as possible. It does block traffic and some dog barks. It is not loud enough to block out bathroom water noise or an electric toothbrush or even the ice maker down the hall in the fridge! Was hoping it could at least do that. It does reduce the effects of someone snoring a little though and that is nice!I put a photo of how it looks at night and a short video of its sound on the 3 settings, in case that may help someone else decide what is best for them

    I was not sure about getting this fan even though I needed one. I got it on prime day for a good price considering how expensive fans have gotten. I am very glad I did. Its great!!! Very powerful but not too noisy. Love having the remote and also enjoy that is has a smaller ranger of motion so I get more air than other fans. The timer is great so I can leave it on for my dog while I am away and know it will shut off. The sleep mood is nice, but I tent to use the timer feature more for sleeping. Even on low you get a good breeze and airflow. Very glad I decided to get this.

    I purchased this to replace my high velocity box fan in my bedroom. The breeze it creates is different than a box fan, but it’s quite pleasant. It is keeping my space a bit cooler. It’s not loud, it makes just enough noise to know it’s there. It will be an adjustment as someone who sleeps well with lots of white noise. It’s tall enough to feel the breeze on while sitting on my bed, which is high above the floor. The base is super easy to install, and requires no tools.     This fan is awesome. It keeps a perfect temperature actually cooler then our old box and standing fan. The remote control is a added bonus and I can turn the fan off across the room before going to bed. The fan is easy to use with push button controls. I love the fact that I cam change the speed from 1 2 or 3 depending on how cool I'd like it. The timer feature is an added bonus as well. It is totally worth the cost because it ranges in the same price range as a typical fan but does a much better job. It seems to be made out of durable plastic that should hold up but I have only had it a short while and don't plan on throwing it around to find out lol. The wide base bottom helps to stand it up and their isn't and wobble to it and is pretty stable with my 2 dogs 2 cats and 4 kids running around too.

    Update….I bought this fan end of May. It stopped working end of July. It had power but no fan or oscillating. Tried all the troubleshooting tips but it was dead. I called Lasko and after some initial questions and troubleshooting they sent me a replacement. They said it would arrive in 7-10 business days but I got it 2 days later! Cudos to Lasko Customer Service for standing by their products.

    I have a taller Lasko tower fan that I bought several years ago for the living room that still works fine so when shopping for a smaller version for the bedroom I decided to stick with Lasko. Like my larger one, the small one has the same remote capabilities and is perfect for a midsize room. The only drawback is the sleepmode. I would expect it to run quieter but it runs on the highest speed with no option to adjust it and it's actually louder than the normal functions. So instead I use the timer when I go to bed so that it doesn't run all night needlessly. Overall, a good fan that will hopefully last as long as my other one.

    This fan puts out a lot of air, very quietly. It doesn't significantly interfere with the sound of the television. The display panel looks very classy and high tech, and illumination turns off after a few seconds so there's no light to bother you in a dark room.

    The only negative thing I can say about the fan is the mount for the remote control is very insecure and the remote falls off very easily when the fan is moved. But having said that, this fan is really nice, even better than other Lasko fans I have. I would happily buy it again (and will!).

    I think this fan is fine. It's nothing spectacular. I used a tower fan while staying at an Air BnB and loved it because it felt like air conditioning and really cooled the room. I came home and tried replicating that and this fan falls short, for sure. I tried getting a medium price ranged one because I didn't know which one was good and didn't want to for over $130+ without knowing the outcome, but figured I'd need to spend more than the $35/$40.

    So...the review:
    It's huge. I'll say that. Although it's a tower fan, it's quite large. It is pretty easy to move if you're sharing between rooms but it's definitely a lot larger than I expected.

    It works. It pushes air around; that's true. It has 3 speeds and optional oscillation. It's got a remote, which I didn't know was now a deal breaker but it is. It's very convenient for when you're in bed and don't feel like getting up to adjust.

    I gave it 3 stars because it's just...fine. There is nothing wrong with it but it definitely falls short of my expectations. I'd have returned it if I hadn't torn up the box. I'll buy another one and give this to the kids.

    Final say is that you could probably get one just as good for $30 less

    Es muy sencillo armar el pedestal y ya ensamblado el ventilador alcanza algo más de un metro de altura.

    Funciona bien. En el primer nivel de intensidad percibes bien la ráfaga a dos metros de distancia y a tres metros ya se siente menos, pero aún es notoria. El material es bueno, porque no requieres más. Un material más robusto lo haría pesado y ello impactaría en el consumo de energía.

    La abertura de ventilación cubre, aproximadamente, un sesenta por ciento de la altura del ventilador, pero sí expele aire por toda la ranura. He visto ventiladores que no lo hacen así.

    Creo que le falta rango de cobertura en el giro; de los 180° que corresponden al frente (ningún ventilador los cubre), abarca 60°; pero es una apreciación personal y puede no compratirla mucha gente.

    Agradezco que es ligero y más lo agradecerán usuarios de la tercera edad o personas que no puedan cargar objetos pesados. Su volumen no es muy estrecho, pero ese factor ya es algo que puede afectar de formas muy puntuales.

    So glad I found this fan on here, I had one previously the same model and brand for 10+ years before it finally gave up! This thing is sturdy and well built, it's made of plastic but it will last and continue to be quiet for a long time. Never had any issues with my last one creaking, squeaking or making any annoying sounds while it ran, and always very sturdy purchase where it stood.

    I've never used the sleep feature or the remote control so I can't comment on those things, but just running the fan overall it stand the test of time.

    Si lo que te preocupa es el nivel de ruido, si, hace ruido, es un ventilador, pero si lo comparas con otros es bastante mas silencioso, sobre todo por su potencia, no he necesitado usarlo a mas de nivel 1. El control y funciones son muy buenos, ademas de que tiene mucho estilo y se ve bien donde lo pongas, si tiene un detalle en mi opinion es que no es muy alto, por lo tanto si estas de pie no se sentira mucho el aire, es para una sala o recamara donde estes sentado o recostado.
