3-in-1: Blow, Vacuum, Mulch
The perfect yard clearing tool. Say goodbye to your rake, and you’re going to be using a lot fewer garbage bags.
-
One-Handed Operation
All this power and functionality only weighs 8.6 lbs, so you can operate it and haul it around the yard with just one hand.
A Wide, Strong Stream of Air
600 Cubic Feet per Minute, blowing out at 70 MPH, from a motor spinning at 15,000 revs/min is more than enough air volume and force to clear the largest lawns with the biggest trees.
Metal Mulcher
The durable, high-efficiency metal impeller boasts a 16:1 mulch ratio. That means 16 bags worth of leaves get chopped up into 1 bag. No more lining the curb with dozens of bags of leaves.

Product Description
Switch from blow to vac and mulch with just the turn of a dial. “Rake the leaves” with just this one tool in half the time it used to take you. And with the 16:1 mulch ratio, you’ll have far fewer bags to drag to the curb when you’re done. The 600 CFM – 12A Electric TRIVAC is here to make yard work so much easier. First off, all that tech is less than 10 lbs, so almost anyone can operate it with just one hand. The 2-speed control lets you blow on low for tight corners, and then crank it up to 70 mph for the open yard. 600 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) is an awful lot of air and creates a nice wide stream to get even more done in less time. And the powerful 12A electric motor frees you from the expense and hassle of gas-powered blowers to give you a cleaner and quieter experience. Let’s talk some more about that mulching function. The patented articulating design lets you flip it into vacuum and mulch mode with just one turn. You don’t need to switch out the tube, and you certainly don’t need any tools to do it. It sucks up leaves into the metal impeller and shredder blades, which chops them up into 1/16th their regular size. So you can stuff 16x more leaves and yard debris into the 1.4 bushels collection bag than you could with a regular yard vacuum or a blower or a rake. Welcome to the TRIVAC, it’s the better way to go “rake the leaves”.

Other people say it's dusty. Yes. It's outdoor work with a high-speed air movement tool where you're picking up dust and dirt along with the leaves you're chopping up into tiny pieces. Dusty should be expected.
Buy it.
It’s a bit heavy after a few minutes. Not terrible but becomes a little cumbersome. It would have been better to put the shoulder strap on the blower instead of the bag.
THE DUST… as soon as you start using it you, your hair, your clothes are covered and a 3 foot diameter around you is one giant cloud of dust. Be prepared to wear dedicated clothing and maybe even a mask. I’m a covered head to toe in dust and will be tasting dried leaves for the rest of the day lol.
This mulcher produces about 1/4” pieces of leaves when dry. Wetter leaves are not mulched as well. It sucks up dry leaves within about 6” of the nozzle without effort. Approach deeper leaf piles slower as it can plug up and need to hand clear if too many leaves are collected at a time.
It collects the wet leaves at the bottom of a leaf pile but doesn’t mulch as well. The mulching is visibly better than the battery mulcher I use. In 2 seasons I have used his heavily and collected close to 100 mulch bags. The bag is surviving well and is easy to separate from the motor for easy dumping.
The worst thing is that you need to press on the bag to determine how full it is as the mulcher continues to suck up leaves though with less vigor. The bags become heavy and tend to cut into your neck. Consider using padding where it hangs on your neck. A full bag may weigh 20 pounds or so.
I rotated that lever several times in practice and heard it 'clicking' into position. Upon first several power ups - the unit would just not engage - even though it was plugged in correctly. After powering off and moving that lever - it finally clicked enough into position - that it would power up. This thing is also very loud compared to my previous other manufacture unit that I had originally for 6 years.
I use different manufacturer blowers almost every other week - I have artificial turf for my backyard - So I use it to help blow the dog fur or leaves / twigs that have fallen. During the fall - units get a workout blowing all the leaves and then pulverizing them into small bits. (This is one thing I read in many reviews that the Worx was not great at - grinding up leaves - but unfortunately I never got a chance to try). As well - I have a backup gas powered blower to use (as I've had that for 12-15 years) and it still runs like a champ - but I dislike smelling of 2 cycle after I'm finished all the time.
So I attempted to use the Worx blower yesterday and had power to the unit and it started fine on its high speed. Suddenly - I began to smell a burning plastic and then electrical smell. I powered off unit. Examined the motor and made sure the fins were rotating freely. Which they were. I started the unit back up - It began to run and went immediately from high speed to low speed on its own. At this point I powered entire unit off took it back into my garage. Got my gas powered unit out and finished blowing my backyard. Later I tried powering the Worx WG512 unit in my garage and unit would not even power on. Time to box unit back up and return it.
I so wanted to try this Worx unit out - especially the leaf collection unit which will attach directly to trash cans. But due to the issues with this unit, and I'm not in the position to constantly exchange units with manufacturers - some would say that I got a bad unit. I just don't think the quality control of this is quite up to par.
Finally - it was definitely a electrical issue with the motor. When I had the unit on my workbench and I was taking the tube off the unit - I noticed fine granules collect at the bottom of where the motor was. At first - I thought this was just fine plastic, but upon further review - these plastics looking pieces were actually the magnetic parts from the interior motor. I captured these in a ziploc bag to send back.
Dislikes: Will choke vacuuming damp or sodden leaves. Really needs a P-7 rated impeller.
