Second they are a really nice design and sleek looking. And they are easy to use once you know how. When I took the rear sight out of the box, the sight wouldn’t stay down and I realized a piece had broken off. No big deal because it is ultimately plastic and accidents happen. I informed the company and they responded the same day (impressive since I emailed them at like 11:30 pm) They asked what happened and after explaining, they offered to send me a new one. I honestly really like the sights and they feel really good when aiming. Would recommend purchasing.
THEY ARE OUTSTANDING!
Until yesterday, I’d never used my green dot at the range because they enabled me to consistently make head, neck, and center mass shots at 25 yards.
I finally decided to sight my laser, since I’d never practice at less than 25 yds, but wanted to have quicker accuracy at that range. After firing half a 10-clip mag with the laser and half with the sights, the shot group stayed the same!
Now, because they were all left of the spine, I’m sure I need to adjust the windage but I’ll figure that out.
Also, the review about the flimsy feel and looseness is COMPLETELY the opposite with my sights. The plastic feels solid and nothing has EVER shaken loose, after 6 range trips.
He must’ve gotten a defective set because mine have been an amazing bargain!
I grabbed them for a 12 gauge bullpup shotgun that I put a red dot on. I'm just happy the things have stayed attached so far. The plastic is really cheap feeling as expected, and the windage knob is sort of janky. You can push the windage aperture and it will wiggle slightly - not exactly holding zero.
Seeing as it's a shotgun and I sort of expected this, it wouldn't bother me if it weren't for one problem: the flip up aperture on the rear sight (the piece of plastic that changes the ghost ring to a pinhole aperture) is loose as heck on mine. Like, flapping in the breeze no tension whatsoever. If I hold the shotgun upside down, I have a pinhole aperture, and if I turn it back around, it's back to ghost ring. Shoot the gun? That thing flaps like my buttcheeks after a night at Taco Bell.
Don't get these unless you're fully prepared to accept that they're more for looks than function.
They're easy to set up, light weight, and surprise, hold their zero. Even a foam dart springer can make some sights shift, mine averages 150-170fps depending on dart type.
These are light too, something I prefer when I'm using flip ups, and when I'm not, they stay flat & outta the way nicely.
Gonna order a couple more sets now that I've found a set that is actually WAY better than I thought at this price point.
So, if your "plinking" w a . 22, or airsoft, BUY these next time.
10 outta 10.
