They are very sturdy well made and much lighter/easier to maneuver than the taller steel ones I had.
But the biggest point is that the dam on my Lexus SC430 and 2007 Jetta obstructs taller ramps causing problems. With these they fit right in front of the wheels and I can drive straight on.
