I love the color of this desk mat. It makes a great surface for my mouse without needing to buy a mouse pad. It's pretty thin so it doesn't irritate your arm if you need to rest on it when writing.

You definitely need a flat hard surface to write on if you are using loose paper and not a notebook. Otherwise your paper will have holes in it. Since I received this item I have had a monitor stand resting on top of the mat and it left little indents in the mat. I'm not sure if they will go away on their own. It came with a little belt to hold it together if you want to transport it.

Overall it's a cute mat. It feels durable and serves it's purpose perfectly.

1. Nice and slippery surface, which is what I wanted. My arms, elbows and mouse all glide around effortlessly on the surface without friction.
