Maybe not the most Stylish, but work GREAT! Buying a 3rd pair.
Ok I was always one to buy giant bug-eye or aviator sunglasses and TRY to fit them over my glasses. That was always a little nightmarish and fugly looking. I am photophobic or whatever they call us that are sun sensitive with light colored eyes and a few medical issues. And I just got new glasses with larger plastic frames that unlike my old metal rimmed ones, did not work well with dept store shades. Then I found these. These I FELL IN LOVE with after the second time wearing them. Why not the first time? Because they just felt WEIRD. But they fit well, I can go around outside or drive and not even think about it, and they even work for me in harsh, evil big box store lights. Yup..I'm that creepy person with the dark shades on in Walmart at 3 am! ;) The edge is large so you don't have that peripheral glare or sun spike to the eye either. Why am I on my third pair? BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO BE WITHOUT THEM. And if one does break I don't want to be back trying to fit too small of sunglasses over my seeing glasses. I want a pair in the car, in the house etc. What SOLD me on them....I wear several different glasses for distance up close etc. and I usually wear a ball cap and keep them stacked atop my head, rather than setting them down somewhere. (And because bifocals do not work well for me tho I have those also) I was in the shade and had these on top of my stash of glasses on my head. I bent over and they fell off. NOTHING. I was ready to cry and NOTHING. Undamaged. Then while gardening I pulled the same stunt AGAIN! This time while reaching for my real glasses I knocked them off and they went FLYING...on CEMENT...and an arm popped off. (this was with force the way they went flying this time-about 6 ft away and from 6 ft in the air). I picked them up, again ready to just cry, expecting scratches and them being broken beyond all hope...but the arm popped right back on and they were like brand new! NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH!So...for something that is 6 bucks, (MUCH CHEAPER than dept store shades) allows me to wear my large plastic frame glasses under them without being uncomfortable AT ALL....blocks the sun from my sun hating eyes, and is not some WEIRD color of brown or blue, but just a darkening grey, I am HAPPY! That get's 5 stars in my book. RARELY if EVER do I come back and buy and second and then a third of ANYTHING unless its great. These, at least for my needs, are GREAT. Price is great, fit is great, durability is great. These COULD BE DARKER...I WISH THEY WERE DARKER, that is my only...meh, sort of complaint. But I am happy with them the way they are. As you can see my new pair..that had just arrived, I held up to a lamp while still in the bag they came in. That way you can sort of get a feel for how they are not SUPER dark, but dark enough. And if I look a little funky wearing them, I DON'T CARE! They are BIG. But this is not about LOOKS, this is about utility. And for less than 6.00....you just cannot go wrong here.
