This is a great system if you are the type of person who loves designing and creating your own setup. It's sort of like the erector set for the adult gardner.
This comes with a 6 outlet manifold and a stake otherwise I think the Rain Bird DRIPPAILQ Drip Irrigation Repair and Expansion Kit is a better deal. I purchased both and have used most of the material.
I currently have two setups
The first one is at the corner of the backyard fence where we have several plants (Rhodies, roses, and a new tree). Then about 30 feet down the two fence lines we have several new trees planted. I set the manifold just right of the corner plants. I have two lines that feed the trees running down the fence lines and two more lines that feed the different plants in the corner. It's well over 100 feet of running line because I had to use some of the tubing from the expansion kit. While I mainly use one or two emitters and different gallons per hour depending on size of plant I also used a couple of bubblers. I had to use a few emitters and Ts from the expansion kit as well. It will take a few waterings and testing just to see how well my design is working especially right now with record breaking heat. But that's what I love about this system - you can design and redesign anytime.
The second run is for five new trees on about a 30 foot run. The expansion kit comes with a hose adapter that includes a screen.
What I used the most was the tubing, of course, but also Ts and emitters. And I had just enough stakes but I will probably need to get more as I expand.
Overall this is a great way to water your plants and save water/money during this hot season!

For plants with differing water needs, consider using a combination of staked-drippers and micro bubblers. Because they allow fine-tuning of flow rates, these handy devices allow the most options for watering customization. They can be routed easily with 1/4" Drip tubing to the root zone of individual plants. For drippers, select low flow-rate types (0.5 or 1.0 GPH) for plants that need less than 1 gallon of water per week after the early stages. Use higher flow-rate drippers (2.0 GPH or 5.0 GPH) and micro bubblers for plants that need more water.
Quick and easy setup to water up to 22 plants
1. Attach to faucet
Attach to an outdoor faucet to regulate flow for drip watering devices.
TIP: For easier installation, cut the tape holding the tubing coils and place in the sun for one hour to help unroll them before installation.
2. Run tubing to plants
Run water from the faucet adapter to your planting bed.
Branch off of the 1/2" tubing to run water to your plants.
3. Attach watering devices
The watering devices are clog-resistant and specifically designed to provide dependable watering of all plants, helping ensure consistent growth, better vegetable yields, and resistance to disease.

Drippers
Drippers, sometimes called spot-watering emitters, provide a slow drip of water to the base of each plant or cluster of plants. You can also place two drippers in a container if needed to water larger surface areas. Available in 1 gallon per hour (GPH) and 2 gallons per hour (GPH) flow rates.
Micro Sprays
Micro Sprays are ideal for taller plants such as shrubs and bushes and for use in flower beds and ground cover where you may want broader coverage. Available in full or half-circle patterns, these sprays adjust from 0 to 10 ft. throw, allowing you to water multiple plants or dense plantings.
Micro Bubblers

Easy to set up, flawless operation but, doesn't play well with Smart Water Valves
The kit was easy to set up. I am happy with it. Some small things- When the temperature is under approximately 75 degrees, there is a leak at the dripper connections from the 1/2 inch tubing. Those same connections are watertight when the temperature is above 90 degrees. We are using this kit to water our 80-foot backyard garden and found the selection of drip watering devices “almost” perfect. I would consider the Rain Bird DRIPPAILQ Drip Irrigation Repair and Expansion Kit an essential supplemental purchase. The one big issue I have is the interaction with Smart hose valves. I own three Orbit BHyve valves and the Eve Aqua Smart Water Controller. On an Orbit 62010N 4 outlet Brass Hose Faucet Manifold, I have installed a Hoselink garden hose, a simple four-head lawn sprinkler system, the Orbit 69525 Micro Bubbler Complete Drip Irrigation Watering Kit, and the Rain Bird kit. The three sprinkler systems are attached to three separate Orbit BHyve units. On the Orbit kit and my lawn sprinklers, I have NEVER had a water hammer. I have had those systems in service for three years. Approximately four times out of every five uses, the Smart valve refuses to close on the Rain Bird kit and causes a water hammer. I have tried moving the valve further down the hose line, systematically removing sections of the 3-in-1 Rain Bird faucet adapter, and installing fresh batteries in the water valve to no avail. I replaced the BHyve with the Eve Aqua Smart Water Controller. I STILL got a water hammer ONLY in the Rain Bird line. I can’t fault Rain Bird for this behavior. The kit does work flawlessly and does exactly what it claims to do. However, I would be hesitant if I was setting up a DIY, Alexa, Homekit Smart water system.
