Great vest. It fits to my dog well and doesn't bunch up of dig into him at all. He has plenty of room for a full range of motion. We often hike up hilly terrain and this vest gives him all the flexibility to move as he pleases. The fabric is durable and the color hasn't faded at all. Well constructed easy to take on and off
We adopted a dog from the animal control shelter in February 2023. Maggie is a Schnauzer- standard poodle mix and was 37 lbs of untamed energy. Her walks were a battle resulting in me falling twice. I forgot to mention Maggie is now fully grown at 60 lbs. The first time I fell from her pulling and chasing any moving object ,I broke my foot, the second fall resulted in a severe double ankle sprain. Maggie is a sweetheart of a dog but out on the street Large tuff men would cross the wat when they saw us coming.This vest has changed our lives. Maggie is no longer controlling our walks. Treat and behavior rewards are now observed as her attention is improving. She still is a ball of energy but this harness which clips in the front was a game changer in walking safely for our family.I highly recommend this harness-Adopt don’t shop

I’m probably the most picky doggie mama so I wont sugar coat this....Cutting to the chase the cons are: although there are two adjustments clips (neck and girth) it’s still not adjustable enough. My Bella is slim and fit and the size small is too big for her neck. The XS may fit her neck but it will be too small for her girth/chest. For a no-pull harness the neck needs to be snug or the entire harness will shift from side to side when I pull. I don’t have a service dog so another con is that its so heavy. I dont need patches or velcro, but the style makes it worth all the extra weight, but I wish there was an option to pick from.
Pros: I’ve tried many harnesses and this one is by far the most comfortable. I like the padding that protects her from every clip and plastic adjustment. The biggest pro is that It seems to be so cozy and its one of the very few harnesses that has all the adjustments! Its absolutely necessary to have a neck clip to get her head in and out because it needs to be totally snug when its on. I also think it actually calms her when she has it on because its a full padded jacket. Very well made. People that complain about it coming apart must have gone thru a doggie war or something. :)

The harness is very sturdy, nice and solid manufacture with metal hardware, and the handle makes it so much easier to control her when she flips out. Zero signs of fraying or stress from her hefty fight or flight responses, makes bringing her under control a breeze. Overall very impressed with this harness after going through three other styles that just couldnt hold up to her stress responses.
She shows zero signs of discomfort with this harness, even when she wears it for the whole day. It is a touch weighty, and she was hesitant the first few times i went to put it on her after the initial wear, but now she stands calmly while I strap her in before bounding over to the door to wait impatiently while I get her leash.
Only thing I could possibly knock about it would be that it seems to run just a hair larger than the measurements would suggest, as I measured her according to the guide provided, she fit just a couple of inches over the minimum size, and I currently have the harness snugged up as far as it will go and it is just a touch loose on her. Not a problem for me, as she is only just now hitting the one year mark and she hasnt been spayed yet, so I have no doubt i will end up letting it out a little in a couple of months.
Be prepared to brush down the harness after walks though if your dog likes to roll around like mine does... the velcro does like to collect grass clippings and such! Just buy plenty of patches and the problem goes away!
Update: July 1st 2022.
More than one year on and this thing is just as solid as the day i got it.
My girl demands her harness when she is ready for her morning walk, and then has no interest in any attempt to remove it until her last out of the day. Even when it is a mostly lazy day where she is just laying around the house, she doesnt want her harness removed. It is without a doubt the most comfortable of all the harnesses we tried, the most secure, and the safest. She can be easily controlled when she freaks out, and she looks so smart in it.
I came back here because I am going to order a second one now in a lighter color, as this is Oklahoma in summer, and as a predominantly black dog, she does get a bit warm. It will be nice to have options, and while I have seen no sign of any fraying of stitched, loosening of buckles, etc, I am sure swapping between two of them will make these last her lifetime.
Never been happier with a purchase.
Final update. 8/27/22
Bought the same size in Grey with reflective stitching. This harness has had some design tweaks since my original purchase. The new red tabs on the front buckles are easier to open, almost too easy.
Most importantly, the underbelly piece has changed from a single unit to a two piece with adjustability. Its a solid looking update that i cannot knock at all. Great improvement.
However, this redesign has increased the size of the harness, meaning the old design that I bought in a medium, that when cinched up as far as possible, fits like a glove and can grow with her, has been replaced with an improved product that no longer fit my dog as it was too loose.
Amazon returns arent a hassle, and I'll probably end up just ordering the small now instead, but if a product is updated, the listing should be as well.
Just pay close attention to sizing, and assume it will be a little loose now and adjust accordingly.
Still 1000% recommend!
